My family and I stayed at these suites for approximately 7 days in January 2020.
Check in/out was quick and painless.
Housekeeping was excellent, all requests were responded to in less than 5 minutes.
We had booked a 2 bedroom suite.
Our rooms were very comfortable, with each bedroom room and loungeroom having individually controlled airconditioning units which were excellent.
The TV and selection of stations was very good. Our wifi connection/strength was very good.
We had two bathrooms/toilets all very good.
Our small kitchen had a stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery and a large fridge.
We were on the 9th floor and had a reasonable view of the city.
The location of the Suites was excellent. They are located at the rear entrance of WISMA Atrium which is one of Singapore’s many shopping malls, which had a number of great eateries and other shops. You can walk through the Atrium to Orchard Road (less than 5 minutes), which is near the intersection of Scotts Road.
The staff and housekeeping were excellent.
We were a bit disappointing with the following:
Our room backed onto the Atrium Mall, which ‘ran’ its aircondioning units 24/7 – quite noisy.
Our suite though very nice/good, was in need of urgent updating/renovating.
The location of the breakfast area was not separated from reception area, making it appear a bit tacky and confusing for guests.
The continental breakfast was very lacklustre/boring – a bit stingy. Technically a continental breakfast, we had expected more from this establishment and were unfortunately disappointed. In a survey we suggested that the breakfast should become a buffet style breakfast in line with other 5 Star Singapore and Asian Hotels.
All and all our stay was very good with no real issues, however at this point in time – these Suites shouldn’t be using a 5 Star rating until some or all of these issues are remedied bearing in mind the expense outlaid to stay there.
