Got a great room for a good price last minute. Very good value

The reception team was very accommodating to check us in and try to organise an extra activity.

The pool was really relaxing resting over the site of the pool.

It's a little walk from town but one of those walks to "walk off a big dinner". Location was peaceful.

We stayed for 4 days at the end of October, and had a very enjoyable stay. First to meet us at the check in was Bernard, who managed to upgrade us to a balcony room with sea view on the 4th. floor. Greatly appreciated. The view was wonderful, and the room excellent, with air conditioning, though strangely the warm water always took a long time warm up.

As others have noted, the hotel has a shuttle bus service to town. Very convenient though it’s an easy 20 minute walk each way. On the one occasion that the bus didn’t run, the hotel volunteered, ordered, and paid for a taxi for us.

The breakfast is sensational, with an enormous choice of Croatian specialities, cakes and a sparkling wine in addition to the regular items. The gluten free chocolate cake with walnuts is to die for.

One of the reasons for choosing Cvita was the free parking space, and another was the pool. We were told however that the heating for the pool had been switched off, due to it being the end of season. The water temperature in the pool was too cold for all but the keenest of bathers, but the sea temperature was perfect, and the beaches are only about a 10 minutes walk away, so no problem at all.

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly but the breakfast staff deserve a special mention for making our stay so pleasant.

Hotel is situated 5 minutes by car from the old town. It was quite difficult to find, but it was worth the effort. The style is not at all modern, but everything was new and clean. We stayed in two large rooms with two bathrooms in each room. Small but nice pool area - with good pool restaurant. Very good breakfast.

Stayed at the Cvita for 4 nights during our recent holiday to Crotia last August, where we used Split as a base to do day trips to nearby places like Zadar, Sibenik, Trogir, Krka and the lovely Plitvice lakes.

The rooms at the Cvita are very spacious with lovely sea views. The breakfast is filling with a wide spread of local Croatian delicacies as well as usual continental spread. We did not use the pool but it can be a handy luxury considering hot summers. Being far from the city centre is not a disadvantage at the Cvita, the property offers complimentary shuttle service to the city centre. You can check the schedule uploaded in the pics.

Parking is available at the Cvita but driving to the property can be a pain as the approach road is through a narrow uphill road which makes driving tad difficult.
