A modern luxury apartment in the heart of the old Diocletian's Palace. Our hosts were great at ensuring that we were met at an easy to find location and helped us with our bags to the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable and overlooked the promenade. The double glazing and shutters ensured that the room was quite in the evening. The apartment is at the heart of the old town close to restaurants, shops, the port area and the various sites around the Diocletian's Palace. Poseidon restaurant, a 2-minute walk was our favourite for breakfast.

Visited Split in June 2019, stayed at Riva Palace. Situated at the back of the Diocletian Palace. We were met by the owner at a very late hour (sorry again about this) everything you need in the room, they have left nothing out.
5 star quality, & 5 star service. It is so handy to reach all areas, I will definitely be back sooner rather than later.
Thank you all again for the lovely memorable stay

First of all we are still here and this place is something else , we booked a double with sea view and it’s simply stunning . We were greeted by Simone who met us at a drop off point from the taxi as you wouldn’t find this place by yourself . Simone took us through the famous dungeons and what an entrance for your guest house ... so much history and it’s beautiful . Once at the Riva we were shown our room it’s breathtaking , bright , big , clean with the option for a bath or shower . The bed is big and so comfortable . Elemis products and the decor is second to none . You need your key card to buzz yourself into the property and again upstairs to get you into your room . So secure and if u forget your room key they give u a passcode so you won’t have to wait outside . The information that we received from Simone was great she really loves what she does and it’s so easy to rub off yourself . She helped with directions , places to eat and guided us back through the dungeons when we wanted to go back out .... the dungeons get locked at a certain time so Simone kindly showed us how to get back in . The Riva palace is simply stunning and we will definitely return . Fantastic location in the most beautiful historical settings . Don’t bother staying anywhere else in split ... this has been a fantastic stay .

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the exquisite Riva Palace . The hotel has been built seemlessly into the interior of the Diocletian Palace which is 1700 years old.
The room itself is beautifully decorated with every modern convenience . Staying there made our trip to Split even more special. Simona met us on the street outside and guided us to the hotel on our arrival. It would have been very hard for us to find it otherwise . I would recommend Riva Palace to anyone who appreciates beauty and history entwined . I could find no fault with this hotel. It was one of the most special places we have stayed anywhere in the world.

My daughter and I visited split and stayed in the twin rooms at Riva palace. Simone was so helpful. Meeting us at the car park. Actually carrying our bags to the room. She showed us on the map all the ways in and out of the palace area. So helpful. She told us all the places to visit and was always at the end of the phone/messages for help and advice. The room was lovely. the amenities were all you needed. I can’t recommend the hotel and staff enough.
