they made some modification and renovation and still working.
they are improving the place.
I recommend the place for anyone want to stay in a room with an air condition with private bathroom (no t a hut ) with nice breakfast and dinner.
the good think also that they opened a supermarket in the place where you can find all your needs in the place.

As part of a large group, we visited that hotel a few day ago in Jan. We were housed in a room that the knob could easily be opened from outside (number 142) and they key given didn't even work, so we went in and out from the "balcony" that was ground level and didn't lock, and managed to lock the door from inside. Maybe it was our room only butbwe weren't impressed for a hostel. The restaurant food was quite good comparatively for the hotel and location, that was more than satisfactory. Staff were helpful and friendly. It is pet friendly and clean at the same time. Would go there again but probably ask for a better room that has a working key.

This is by far one of the best camps in Nuweiba Road all what you need is a nice group that wants to have fun the staff and mainly Waleed the GM is very friendly supportive and helpful willing to go way out of his way to insure that you have a great stay and time room furniture is okay giving the fact that you'll be spending 90% of your time outside Air conditioners work with no issues. food is pretty much decent.

Crazy Horse one of the rarest places that have in - room bathroom & Air conditioned, cause alot of people cant stand to stay in huts in summer specially between taba & Newbaa, and great value for money.

The Owner waleed are social & friendly person you can call him directly to set your booking, the staff are friendly & helpful to the extreme,

The location just perfect, you can bring your own food & drinks & use the fridge,

The Bed & the bellow wasn't comfortable for us, just take your bed sheets with you or you should ask ask to be changed

The AC sounds so loud, the electricity goes off from 4 AM till 6 PM!

better late than never:
me and my boyfriend stayed there around july 2010 , and we had the most amazing time, and i have my standarts.
i believe we stayed in a different room from the room in the pictures, less room and more bungalo. it had a/c that could barely stand the heat (it was sinai+ during july + a heat wave in the first night = hot like hell), but did the job.
the room was simple, clean, nothing more- but we didn't need more.
you should know that the tap water are solty, not only there but in most parts i heard of in sinai. it's not like the ocean, it's less solty, and you get used to it very queckly. the only problem with the water was that they were so hot it was hard to take a shower without getting burnt.
the food was exeleng, that is if you order the local food (eggplants with tahini, labaneh cheese and so on), and the breackfast was exelent and generous. the prices were slightly high (especialy for non local dishes), but than again this is the only expans there.
the staff was really nice, and even the non english speaker employee was fun to hangout with, as we communicated with our broken arabic.
iv'e read InjiM's review, and have to say something regarding the time and food (not that i doubt her experiance):
sinai has a different tempo, and israelis often joke about it ("you order the pancake at morning so you'll get it by lunch"). surprisingly, at our staying at the crazy horse it took reasonable time. anyway, you should prepare yourself.
we looked for a place to snorkel, and it was one of the greatest snorkeling trip wev'e ever done, if not the best! in the world! (or at least in comparison to eilat in israel, koh tau in thailand, and even the blue hole in dahab).
the next year we stayed at the hilton taba (only because of the political and security situation due to the revolotion, as hilton is right on the border with israel) and we had a great time, but nothing is like the crazy horse- good food, a desertad island filling, exelent price and a really fun staff!
