I am not sure how many times we have stayed at Poppies now but it never fails to provide us with the best accommodation in Bali. We arrived close to midnight and the wonderful Nyoman was waiting with a pot of tea, a bucket of ice and limes in our room The staff are all amazing and treat us like family. If you haven't stayed here you must try it.

After spending 5 nights at Poppies Cottages was very happy with the cottages and the lovely quiet surrounding. Can't believe all hidden behind the walls we've walked past many times.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff no matter how trivial. The pool area was great as was room service and the food. Now that we've found Poppie's we'll certainly be back.

Wonderful rooms, amazing gardens, lovely staff, and a pool area you will never forget! The breakfast from nearby Poppies Restaurant was superb. I return to Poppies again and again..

The charm of staying in Poppies Cottages is the totality of the experience. From its location in the middle of old Kuta, the beautiful tropical gardens and Balinese swimming pool to individual cottages with all modern facilities. A truly special time.

My on-line booking was for a discounted room rate and included a cooked breakfast. The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and room service is readily available from the Poppies Restaurant menu.

Any review would be incomplete without reference to the outstanding staff. All staff, from the reception, through the gardens and to the team of room staff portray a natural desire to help and a clear message that nothing is too much for them to do for you.

I found Poppies Cottages on Trip Advisor, it was rated #1 so I figured it would be worth a couple nights stay. The reviews I read on this website were impressive, but I have to say it was even better than expected. I liked it so much that I ended up spending my entire Bali trip here.

The cottages themselves are very styling, I think there is only 20 cottages in all. I stayed in 3 different units while there: All had Identical layouts, Comfortable beds, nice linen and I especially liked that all the units have surrounding gardens that make for a private feel. The pool was clear and clean, and there is a small pool bar that you can order drinks and food at.

The price is very appropriate, in fact I think you get alot for your money here. My advise is to try in book in advance.... and definitely go for their package deal that includes dinner, a 1 hour massage ( best I've ever had and I've had hundreds ) and room service breakfast. I did my booking last minute and so I had to change rooms a couple times as other guests were coming that had prebooked particular rooms. So try to book in advance if you can.

This is a little oasis of calm and beauty in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the lane outside and Kuta itself. The cottages are set in beautiful gardens (a gardeners paradise); they are clean, comfortable, and delightfully furnished with antique Balinese artefacts on the walls. All the bathrooms (sunken baths down two steps) are in their own little private enclosed garden leading off the bedroom. You can have breakfast brought to your room, and sit on your patio looking out on your little garden, while listening to the birds and the gentle swish of brooms as the gardeners sweep up the frangipani leaves. Magical!

The staff - most of whom have been here for years (which speaks for itself) - are wonderful and cosset you, taking well deserved pride in their service. We have been coming here for years to relax and unwind - it's better than a spa!! Poppies' magic works wonders every time and we go home relaxed and refreshed.
