We were a party of 9 adults and had a fabulous 4 night stay at Villa Kanti and could not fault it. The villa is beautiful - gorgeous pool, jacuzzi, amazing bedrooms most with outdoor bathrooms, theatre room and a great communal dining/living area where we all gathered each night.
The staff are lovely - initial planning with Putu by email was easy and he was very accommodating of all our requirements. Nyoman and Kade and the rest of the staff couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was perfect.
The villa is a little way out of Ubud (about 20 mins drive) but a driver is available between 10 and 6 and transport was easily arranged for night time.
We went into Ubud on two nights and ate at the villa on two. Food was delicious. There is an extensive list of set menus to choose from and they were happy to provide a special buffet dinner when we had a few extra friends visit for a celebration.
We will definitely return.

We are a group of 9 women who stayed at Villa Kanti in September and had an amazing week of luxury! The villa is just superb and tastefully decorated with local handicrafts. The grounds/gardens are immaculate. The infinity pool is stunning and we made use of the large jacuzzi most nights. There is a steam room also which we didn't use. The large outdoor pavilion for dining and socialising is a wonderful centre piece. The staff were all extremely professional and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly and gracious and Putu was fantastic..always accommodating and again, very professional. The bedrooms were expansive and most had outdoor bathrooms which were stunning. One of the upstairs rooms is not air conditioned and unfortunately there was not much breeze during our stay so it became quite hot. The overhead fan was noisy but the staff adjusted it for us and promptly brought a pedestal fan for our comfort. I'm sure at times there is a beautiful breeze and the room does fully open to allow for this. Housekeeping staff were great. Never intrusive and the turndown service was lovely. There was one vehicle included in the cost but booking another van was always simple, we only needed to give a little advance notice and a local driver was there to collect us. Ubud is about a 10-15 minute drive from the villa. Some great shopping to be had!
We would highly recommend the In house spa treatments. Most of us had the hot stone massages down in the massage pavilion which were superb. Also would highly recommend the ridge top walk from the centre of Ubud, finishing at Karsa Spa for a massage at the end of the walk. A group of us went to Bali Botanica for a day spa
( Probably the best spa in the area - a must). Also had a few yoga sessions at Ubud Yoga House which was fun.
Thank you kindly to all of the wonderful staff and especially Putu for making our stay so memorable. We thoroughly recommend a holiday at Villa Kanti!!

From the moment you are greeted warmly by the staff, and walk through the entrance you realise this villa has been architecturally designed in conjunction with a landscape gardener, a true labour of love
There is so much to take in, as you wander the 3,200 sq. mt. The massage bale with two tables overlooking a creek with a small waterfall (divine when you treat yourself to a fabulous hot stone massage ) The spa, sauna, library etc.etc.
The size of the individual pavilions with indoor and outdoor showers ,all with beautiful bed linen and accompanying furniture, each room treated individually
The huge open area, were you will spend most of your days, why would you wish to join the hussel and bustle of Ubud
The staff were brilliant ,nothing was too much trouble .The chefs were marvelous, the presentation beautiful and the flavors divine. The gardener was always busy, maintaining the manicured property. The bedrooms were immaculate, the gentleman was seen ironing the quilt cover!! (Unfortunately, the room with a fan only was not adequate) The security guard very discreet as he roamed the villa
Putu (what a treasure ) a fountain of knowledge and always available when needed, which was often, the owners are very lucky to have him on board The drivers were excellent ,picking us up at the designated time, acting as interpreters when needed. Thankyou owners for letting us stay at you beautiful villa .Cheers Ali

We were a family group of ten who traveled for my father in laws 90th birthday, all adults and we had a great time.
The location, design and decor of the villa are so beautiful with all local materials and handicrafts, each bedroom is so well appointed.
The swimming pool, jacuzzi and massage pavilion were thoroughly used by all of us, while we did not get to use the study and TV room much just knowing that they were available especially if we plan a longer stay is a comfort.
The only complaint was the flooding of the bathroom in the standalone room that other people seem to have faced earlier too.
Where Villa Kanti is fantastic is in the staff and service that is just right, without being too obsequious nor too laid back. The villa staff, cook and driver are all excellent and are highly recommended.

A family group of 6 spent a week at the villa. It was an extremely busy holiday time, so transferring to Ubud for dinner, shopping etc was time consuming, unless you did it earlier in the day. Normally it would be a 20 minute drive? But no problems getting into and out of Ubud, either using the villas personable driver, Nyoman, or Wayan , from the local Kampung. Their vehicles were a good standard, but the larger car which picked us up and dropped us back at the airport (needed for our luggage) was in not such good condition. Got us there safely though!

The villa set out was perfect for us with private sleeping pavilions and a large combined lounge, sitting, dining room. The pool was put to good use with lots of room for games and floating peacefully.

Gardens were pretty and flowers were used by the staff to decorate the table each day - lovely!

The smiling staff were faultless, always available but never intrusive. We ate at the villa a lot and food was delicious and reasonable (try the curry and Nasi goreng ) . We bought our own duty free and mixers/wine from the Cocomart and the staff served us these. Their gentle manner and humour was lovely.

Housekeeping was excellent, the rooms were kept clean and our laundry was done the same day and bought back perfectly ironed.

My only suggestion is that the property could do with some maintenance. Our air conditioning gave up,and we had a fan overnight the last three nights. Also, the villas where the guests took baths had a nasty flow back in their bathroom drains/toilet when emptying the bath. The jacuzzi and small pool were cloudy.

But, overall I would recommend the villa and the wonderful staff for a relaxing holiday in beautiful Bali.
