Pool review highlights
This is a unique style hotel placed on a hill so you will need to walk some stairs. The pool was being renovated I just wish they would have told us when booking. The rooms need some help too. The good. Very nice staff. The hotel is clean but old. They changed our towels and gave us fresh water....
... Good value of money. Even they dont have elevator, the bell boy help us to reach our room. I like the ambience, green atmosphere. View from the pool is nice! Also the breakfast, simple but it is match to the price we paid. Located in the heart of manado town, easy to find convenience store &...

This is a unique style hotel placed on a hill so you will need to walk some stairs. The pool was being renovated I just wish they would have told us when booking. The rooms need some help too. The good. Very nice staff. The hotel is clean but old. They changed our towels and gave us fresh water. The breakfast was different daily. I gave it a 4 star because they are trying to improve but at the moment it is a 3+. It is quiet and close to the main street along the harbour.

The Minahasa hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the balcony view nice enough, with a view of the hotel garden, although the furniture was old and uncomfortable. There is a great view of the city and the bay from the pool, which is very high up, with many steps to climb, but the lawn furniture was not in great shape for lounging. There was a reasonable restaurant with room service. The room was quite small. This was once a grand hotel that sadly appears to be falling behind, unchecked as it is showing signs of age, so I can only recommend this hotel for a very short stay. I do not believe I would stay here again.

The Minahasa Hotel is obviously competing with the modern block like hotels in Manado. But when you like a family run hotel with an old style feel, come here. The breakfast is fine, once you have found out everything. So are the rooms, not of the latest style but very adequate. There now is a new nice swimming pool half way up to the right. No gawking locals any more. Service there is very slow.
This Hotel's location is still without par; within walking distance of restaurants, malls and travel agencies. Left luggage service was very safe.
We had a fine 3 night stay in this Hotel; without a doubt. And its is not expensive :)

This hotel is situated in the heart of the city, away from the airport. The main building is an old house with bungalows built on the steep slope behind it. The rooms are clean, but the smell of old building might be quite annoying. There is a pool and a small gym at the highest elevation where marvelous view of Manado bay can be enjoyed. Breakfast is served at the main building with minimalist style.

Room Tip: Rooms at higher elevation certainly have better view of the bay, yet more efforts are needed in...
