When we arrived they did not have a clue we were supposed to be there. Be warned that if you have booked a 2 bed apartment there is NO AC in Each of the rooms. only in the living area. you will have to leave the bedroom doors open at all time. They charge extra for the AC. did not inform as they had our passports had no choice but to pay up. they then decide on the conversion rate as well. did not want to give me a receipt. had to more or less fight to get it.
They are only interested if you book things via them once you get to know the local agents then you realise how much cut they take.
Fire Exisits blocked. with dirty laundry also as you open the door the escape route is blocked by clothes line with clothes on them. i did inform the manager she sarcatisically said that i know more about hotels then her. (i have video and photos)
Try to stay away from the hotel, only go to change clothing or to sleep that is perciously what we did.
Do not buy the DVD if you go on activities as they do not work. I had also requested the manager to check the DVD before making the payment. she said will do and as she knew the person pay him and let him go if it does not work i will give refund. couple of days later was advised it works no problem took it off her and when we got home you guessed it Does not work.
I stayed there for a week and i recommend everyone not to stay here. It's extremely overpriced for how the conditions are. Room service doesn't clean up the rooms properly.
I can honestly say, that when we first got to our room we thought that it wasn't too nice. But after a few days we got used to it and fell in love with the warm personnel and atmosphere there. There are over 16 lemontrees and a few orange trees in the garden and the swimming pool is good.
Sun chairs are plenty and the food is Excellent!
they allways try to sell some extra and if you don't buy anything, service will change a little after... My style is only change my clothes and sleep a little sometimes in my room :D
There was a pool, but not very big one. They played finnish music quite a lot so if you like listening to that and spending your time next to highway, speaking about weather with pool boys (they speak so bad english that it's basicly all you can speak with them).. then this is your place. For us who wanted to take a tour around and come home to sleep early it was frustrating that the neighborhood was very quiet, but the music in the hotels bar kept playing very loud till 0am... even if there was just 1 customer.
As we just slept in the hotel and didn't spend time there hotel Isabella did it just fine. If I would spend my time at the hotel I wouldn't choose this one as my destination.
Food at the restaurant was not worth trying. Staff is a bit annoying with their need to entertain instead of plain good service.
Service at the reseption was very good. They had one internet computer from the 90s and it was positioned so that everyone saw all the time what you were doing, I don't get it why hotels tend to do this.
Its a walk to the beach and centrum from hotel Isabella, so most of the slobs seemed to use taxi. We walked instead and it was not a very big walk at all (about 10 minutes).
If you like to buy food, as there is kitchen in the room, be sure to walk east for the bigger Kipa Supermarket, its about the same distance as to the beach.
We had a really nice stay here so its all good, but it really is nothing special.
