Excellent location of the property. Parking in front of the hotel available. Friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant. The view from our room was unbeatable! In plus, the hotel has an indoor pool which is very rare for a city hotel.

Good hotel for transit, right in the city center, nice panorama, but only for superior floors and from the restaurant. If you have the possibility, ask for a room at -1( yes, the first floor is -1 and the last is -6 !). We had an apartment at -3, and even the balcony was nice, we had no view at all. The apartment is spacious, the furniture is a little bit old, from ancient times, 2 bathrooms, witch is great for a family with 2 children. The bathtub was huge, but it was a problem with the water on the floor. The breakfast was poor, at the atmosphere was also from ancient times. The are some very nice restaurants near the hotel, so you can take a walk in the old town, and a great dinner after.

Stayed here one night. VT is a really pretty town with a lot to do and see. View from our room was breathtaking. Breakfast was a typical Bulgarian breakfast with a fair selection but quality wasn't great. Very few amenities and hair dryer barely worked.

Approaching the hotel along the main street, I thought we were in for a noisy time. In fact, as far as I could tell, the ground floor was the only level facing the street. The rooms are beneath that level, and have very good views to the river and hills. The noisy main street seems far away. We were on floor -3, and when the lift doors opened we found ourselves in a cavernous, dark and echoing space. On opening the door to our room, I thought I'd been transported back to my granny's bedroom, circa 1980. We didn't have the space or facilities other travellers have posted pics of here. Equally, the breakfast didn't resemble the pictures I saw taken by travellers three or so years ago. I didn't find the half a sliced tomato with earwig garnish very tempting, nor the other buffet offerings.
There was one grubby two slice domestic toaster for the whole breakfast room.

Yes, great views from the rooms, but you'll need to forget about breakfast and the cost of the room.

The location is what makes this hotel a good choice, i the middle of city and within walking distance of most tourist attractions. There is a bus and taxi stop right outside if needed. From what I understand, all rooms have a view of the river and city, as all floors goes down. The reception is at the first floor and there is 5 floors that goes down. Make sure to read beside the buttons in the elevator to understand which floor is which :) The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and actually quite big. The breakfast included is a big plus.

The hotel is a little outdated, and could need a little refreshing at some places.
The swimming pool is nice, but the room is falling apart some places, the roof and walls needs to be re-done. Didn't try the spa.

All in all, it's a good hotel, we stayed here for a week in the winter and heating in the room was very good. Would stay here again.
