This villa is a great little gem for anyone staying in Kandy.
The room we had was simple and comfortable with a big bathroom. Our balcony view was stunning.
The host was extremely friendly and cooked us a lovely dinner on our first night there and a great breakfast too outside. He helped with organising any taxis we needed whilst there too.
Overall a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone visiting.
We are a large family group from 4yr old to 70yrs. We had the suite of three rooms (with its own lounge area) on the top floor. Mr Alwis was an amazing host. He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Train station transfers, directions, tourism services - none at 'rip off' prices. Mr Alwis made sure we were comfortable and he and his family were perfect hosts. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing and the rooms were immaculately clean. A short tuktuk ride away from the city but in a quiet location.
As soon as we arrived to Hotel, Alwis and family greeted us at the door.
Garden was so inviting, we have almost spent rest of the day there with cold beer and home made french fries .
We felt like home.
Alwis’s mother Mary and wife Nelma they are both good good cooks. Breakfast, lunch and diner we had there.
Alwis and family living in Italy for a long time. They cook good Sri Lankanand italian meal .
They had a very large and tastefully decorated living room. Service was really spotlessly clean and the place was always kept neat and tidy.
All family doing their best to make you feel comfortable they are always kind and smiling good people.
Alwis has a aircon car and he provides shuttle servis with very reasonable prices.
We definately recommend this place
We had a beautiful & big room with a nice view. It was a very quiet place. Good Italien food for dinner. Breakfast in the garden. To the botanical garden only 10 min. to drive, to the tooth Tempel 10 min and to the Elefant house 1 hour. Just special with nice people. Best place in town we could get :-)
