Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and charming. Breakfast was excellent!
Although they did not provide dinner we stopped at a take-away place on our way to the hotel and they took all the food and prepared it on dishes for us.

This nice little guesthouse (English Bungalow) in Kandy was the highlight of our trip! The location, staff, food, room and bathroom were perfect.
Thanks to Mr. Wilson and his 2 helpers for their wonderful hospitality. Thanks Rasika for responding to my numerous emails and helping me book this place.
We will not forget the early morning sounds of birds chirping, very faint chanting, and trains whistling and a very tasty breakfast........ for a very long time!
This place felt like home...so peaceful and touching.

Very friendly and hospitable staff (Wilson, Karshun) helped making our stay in this really beautiful house very enjoyable.
The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated, and the bathrooms modern.
The garden is well maintained and lovely.
The breakfasts were really excellent, both western and sri lankan.
A place i would definitely go back :)

We spent a couple of nights here, and we didn't want to leave, really. We wanted a place that was away from Kandy, so it seemed perfect, and it was! The one afternoon we had to go into Kandy was a nightmare - we got stuck in traffic, around 5pm, bumper to bumper, and it was great to come home to Wilson and his smiley helpers at Cinnamon Tree. You must try Wilson's Pork Curry! He makes sure the fat stays on, and mop this up with some Strings and you're in heaven... the room we had was great, and while there was no TV, they have a TV common space, so I didn't miss the Sri Lanka - New Zealand game! All in all, we were very suprised with how immaculate and comfortable everything was - great value for money! Thank you Wilson!!!

For 5 regular travellers this beautiful bungalow was most ideal. We loved the 'spaces' in this place - the verandah, dining room, wash basin, gallery & the unique wooden stairs to the attic.

We chose the wooden floored attic as it suited us as it had 5 separate beds, and lots of additional space to sit around & chill.

Clean modern bathrooms. Well prepared authentic food. Friendly staff led by an obliging Wilson. Unique sit out area in the garden to have a cup of tea. Well furnished bedrooms. Easy access to several places of interest in Kandy or a stop over location for an onward journey.
