Lovely room, wonderful staff - we could not have been happier with our room. Having our own private pool was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. Every time we wanted to go somewhere they were happy to drive us there. The beach is a 15-minute walk away.

We purchased a weeks holiday at Lalasa Villas through Scoopon Travel in a One bedroom Pool Villa, daily breakfast, 1 hour Balinese massage each, return airport transfers, either lunch or dinner daily, a daily cocktail each and one free mini bar.

I can truly say that “Lalasa, you can skip the free mini bar!” We had a great laugh when we found that the mini bar consisted of 2 small cans of coke and 2 cans of Fanta, 2 small bags of peanuts and 2 bags of chips. Here I was expecting some Bintang to quench my thirst, maybe a Vodka and Squash, some chockie bars. That’s what you normally find in a mini bar isn’t it?? Yeah don’t include this in future advertising!

I cannot fault the service received at the Villas, everyone was happy and friendly and we were greeted with a smile every time. Not having met Mr Wayan on arrival, we were greeted by him the morning after checkin by him referring to us by name. I was impressed.

We also really loved Wifi and Widget, the two Villa pooches that greeted us every day. Wifi would escort us to our Villa after our dinner.

The Villa itself was as pictured, all Villas are two bedroom villas with an upstairs bedroom and ensuite. The upstairs is locked up if the villa is used for a couple only. The exterior shows wear from the weather but it is the tropics. There is provision to cook with a cook top but no pans or pots provided to cook with. Maybe the kitchen could have provided some. The bedroom was large enough and could use a ceiling fan over the bed, just to help keep cool through the night. We asked if they had a pedestal fan and staff were able to provide that for our use. Thank you!

The Villas are only a short walk to the beach, other restaurants, shops, marts, spas and money exchangers.

Lalasa Villas are undergoing an expansion to the rear of the property, which will see a large community pool, BBQ, Bar and additional villas. The works did not interfere with our stay at all and in fact we weren’t even aware of the construction until staff informed us.

The lunch or dinner was off a select menu that consisted of 10 options and the cocktails consisted of 9 options.

Meals included: Chicken sate, Mahi Sambal Matah, Fried rice, Pad Thai, Hokkien Fried noodles, Grilled coconut chicken, soya chicken rice bowl, chicken teriyaki, sapi lada hitam (stir fried beef), and Sweet and sour chicken.

The Villa provided free shuttle to 3 popular areas around Canggu leaving 3 times a day, but no return shuttles.

Would we stay here again? Yes definitely we would stay at Lalasa, we felt quite at home there and loved the freedom of the pool villa and loved the friendliness and helpfulness of “ALL” the staff. (Even one of the groundskeeping staff offered to take our bags from the room to the front foyer).

Nearly 5 stars Lalasa!! Thanks for a lovely stay!!!

WOW! This place is fantastic! Lalasa Villas is the place to stay in Canggu. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the rooms are extremely spacious and private, and the whole staff was super helpful and friendly.
My wife and I booked a single room and were nervous it was different than the double room but it was not. Every villa is exactly the same if you book one room or two, they just lock the second room if you book a single. The private pool was amazing and a must with the warm weather in Bali. The walls in the Villas are high enough that you can easily skinny dip without being seen, swim suit super optional.
My only small complaint is that while the local beach is very close (~5 minute walk) the rest of Canggu is a little difficult to walk to. This is easily remedied with a scooter or taxi (plentiful close by) but something to think about until there are better connections between the different parts of Canggu.
Overall 100% would stay here again!

We stayed at Lalasa villas as a part of a Groupon deal. We used one bedroom of a two bedroom villa, which was spacious and spotlessly clean. Large comfortable bed with quality pillows, AC, day bed and TV. The out door kitchen and lounge area was extensive overlooking the sparkling pool. Our breakfasts were excellent, and our package included a lunch and dinner each day. They were tasty but limiting in variety. Outside to the right, restaurants and bars 5 minutes away, to the left the Berawa beach. The staff were friendly and polite and all made our 5 day break, highly pleasurable! We will recommend to others.
