Got what I went for a very relaxing week's stay, great location, friendly / helpful staff, room's are pretty basic but then it is a 2* hotel, air conditioning was very welcome, restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced, pool was clean and much needed, overall experience was excellent, will be going back, thank you Sinan & staff
Basic horror story.
We decided to stay there because we thought a hotel is always better than a guest room, i wish we would stay in a pension. There was a bathroom without shower cabinet, shampoo, hair dryer and hand soap! I think they think just toilet paper is enough.
Sheets were dirty and bathroom door was cracked that you cannot lock.
Dinner was really really bad, we couldn't eat at all we were just blessed to have salad in it. Also we had to listen this garbage music whole dinner long.
I don't even bother to write about breakfast
I bet you have better choices around there.
Don't event bother to try.
We visited this hotel last year and said we wouldn't go back. The pool was green and well...... not suitable! The bedroom was very basic and you were woken at 5am by the neighbours cockerel
This year we were meeting a friend in Dalyan and decided to give it another try.....Its very cheap and we were only staying 3 nights. The pool was clean and bedrooms had been improved. A good turkish breakfast was included in the price.
This is an affordable, basic hotel in a good local for the centre. I would go there again.
P.S WATCH out for the manager Jo Jo.....he really pressurised us to eat at the hotel restaurant to the point it became uncomfortable. He obviously took the huff when we didn't dine there. We even started taking the back streets back to the hotel.
I have stayed at the Patio Hotel a number of times but the last time was dreadful. Not very clean, electric sockets hanging off walls, dirty bathrooms and only three legs on my bed!!! Found Sam in the restaurant very uncomfortable and used to sneak out the back way to avoid him. Was in Dalyan in May and went to visit Gunal the cleaner and she introduced me to the new manager Sinan and I have a tour of the newly refurbished rooms...what an improvement!!! New doors, spotless bedding and towels and flooring. New cabinets. I would definitely stay here again now as long as I was in a refurbished room. New guy on bar is really friendly as well. Please give it another go.
We arrived mid afternoon and we have to say first impressions were not good. There was no reception to speak of and we were greeted outside by the waiter Jimmy. He had to translate to the none English speaking owner who we were and how long we were staying (no problem with that). He showed us to our room and it was more than adequate although nothing special but we didn't expect anything else from a budget hotel.
As the days went past the place really grew on us. Very friendly staff and a very good restaraunt. The pool was a short walk from the hotel but seemed well kept. The only draw back was there was no pool bar and you had to walk 100 yards to the restaraunt to order drinks and food. A special mention should go to Gunar the cleaner. Although deaf and none verbal she always got across what she wanted to say and was so funny and helpful. Front of house Sam was a little pushy but always looked after us. All in all a good budget hotel and spotlessly clean.
