A lovely personal house with lots of space to relax in. Perfect service and cleaning. And on top we loved the little pool where you could hang arround and have a cold beer or glas of white wine (that you could store in the fridhe). A live hippopotamus in the garden. What more could you ask for? The only complaint was the bed that we had (the parents) could have been better. Thank you Thea!

There are many guest houses in St Lucia and it can be challenging to pick one. Annas is well located in the central area, set in small but pretty gardens with a pool.

Bedroom was large and very comfortable, with a balcony looking over the pool. The breakfast was fine and there is an honesty bar if you need it

We stayed three nights. The owner and staff were extremely helpful in advising on all that St Lucia has to offer and making bookings for us

There will be more uptown guest houses than this one but for sheer value for money, Annas would take some beating

The most impressive element of this guest house was the host, Thea. She was very welcoming, kind, warm and friendly. She gave lots of very good information about the local area including restaurants. Her service at breakfast was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a huge asset to this place and was the main reason we chose not to leave here after we had arrived. On arrival, there was no record of our booking or our paid deposit, although she quickly sorted this out. Breakfast is also very good and is very generous.

Our room, the Butterfly, was a good size and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. All seemed clean and the room was well serviced each day.

Whilst Thea offered a 4 star plus service, attention does need to be given to specific aspects , otherwise it is difficult to see this place as even a 3 star. The shower is not good at all and would stop us returning or recommending. Even when the pump was working, it had a very poor strength as did the water tap in the bath. Thea tried everything in her power to sort it however it is just a poor shower and needs sorting.
Also, the headboard on the bed is not attached and fell off all of the time causing pillows to slip through the gap at night. This was really annoying and a bit shabby for a guest house styling itself as 'quality'.

Generally, the decor was not really to our taste. A bit old peoples' home and flea market style with some really nice things lost in all of this clutter. It certainly has the potential to look great. However, this is all down to personal taste I guess.

There is tons of accommodation in St Lucia and this one could be one of the best if a few things are given attention.

A big thanks to Thea!
