We visited on Johnny's B&B on Thursday night during a flying visit to Skye after it had been recommended to us. We had a fantastic stay. Great comfy rooms with everything you could require and a fantastic cooked breakfast in the morning. Bacon egg black pudding and mushrooms were perfect! The views from Lochbay B&B are spectacular - we stayed in Room 3 and we kept on having to look out the window to see the view. Good restaurants within walking distance and the most amazing sunsets - no wonder Waternish is regarded as one of the best places to watch the sunset in the world. Our first visit but we will definitely be back! Highly Recommended.

Had the best 2 nights stay here in loch bay. Booked on spec when we passed on our way to check out the pub and loch bay restaurant and stayed 2 nights. We were greeted warmly by Johnny and offered a lovely room with everything we needed. Clean, contemporary gable room in a traditional Scottish house. Lovely breakfast and huge decking area to enjoy a sundowner overlooking the bay. Easy walk into the tiny village with excellent pub and restaurant for evening meals. Thank you very much. We will be back!

We loved our stay here. Johnny was the perfect host, friendly, accommodating and helpful. He greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us our room. We were the only guests and we were lucky we found his place after finding Skye completely booked.
The room was very comfortable, breakfasts were tasty. Johnny helped us plan our day by making some fantastic food recommendations.
The location was great - it's a fair drive to get here upon arriving on Skye but the location is perfect for exploring. It was doable to visit Portree, hike to Old Man of Storr, tour Quaraing and the Fairy Glen AND drive around the northern coast of Skye before having dinner in Portree. Easy drive back to Lochbay.
Highly recommended if you want to feel right at home in a nice large room.
