The staff was Great! Its under New Management! A Big Guy runs the Place, he and his staff makes you feel safe. The huge heated pool is amazing. they are in the process of updating all their rooms, restaurant, lobby, etc..

For the money this place is great. when the new stadium open I'm sure the parties will be epic around the pool.

you are close to all the major beaches, shopping, the forum, Hollywood park casino...

Their ads make it sound good but in reality it’s gotten run down since I stayed there over 20 years ago. Be warned about the shuttle. It took 3 calls and an hour and 47 minutes to arrive at the airport...not appreciated after a 12 hour flight. The first time I called the clerk just hung up on me. On the way back to the airport the next day it had to return to the hotel before reaching the airport as the driver had forgotten some of the guests. You pass by strange people sitting next to the pool that appear stoned on the way to your room. They must have problems with a lot of their guests as they ask for an additional $35 refundable deposit and have the maids inspect the room each time someone checks out. My room was okay but well worn...examples in the bathroom- if something rusted, oh well or if the toilet paper holder broke they just set the roll on something. The breakfast is a muffin and coffee. The advertised “gourmet jelly” consists of the same little packets of grape jelly that everyone else has. The bed was comfortable and room spacious, but for the price it should have been.

We booked this hotel via Expedia, for 6 nights, called the LA Adventure all suites when we arrived at the hotel we found out it’s actually called the crown hotel. Which is why we spend ages trying to find it once arriving.

When we arrived we was given our key and shown to room 140 the room was disgusting the bed spread was dirty, there was exposed wiring, the shower was dirty and the curtain was a disgrace. See attached pictures. There was people smoking cannabis outside by the pool, we could not stay there we found somewhere else and lodged a complaint with the hotel.

We approached Expedia and lodged a complaint but the hotel failed to give us a refund because we did not Lodge a complaint, even though we did when we left.

Avoid this “hotel” like the plague we started across the road at the Inglewood plaza inn which was very clean.

The people behind the desk were rude and very unhelpful!

We have informed Expedia we will take this to trading standards if we have to.

this hotel is a cross between backpackers/2 star type accom.good if you want a pool and no frills.second visit there and its ok if you are happy to chill out on your way to somewhere.rooms so-so and b/fast was muffin/coffee or order but cheap food avail. nearby so all in all-its not bad.free shuttle was real good, very useful-long way from Hollywood and Inglewood is so/so,not for families.

A foreign airline booked this room for us when our connecting flight was cancelled and rebooked for the next day.
We checked in at night and left the next morning. The beds were okay and the bathroom is small but okay.
It is an unusual place. It looks like it was initially 1-bedroom apartments and converted to hotel/motel. The front room which would have been the kitchen and living room combo is now a bedroom with a sink and half bridge.
Entering the building it looks like a sales desk that can rent cars, book tours, or check you in or out of a room. Once you exit that small front building, rooms are off to the sides with an outdoor bar and pool in the back.
You can easily hear the airport jets from inside the room and if the room faces the street, car sounds are easily heard through the old single-pane glass windows.
We waited 95 minutes for their airport shuttle to arrive. The person they picked up at the next airport terminal said he waited 2 hours. Only one shuttle is used at night and apparently he was off doing other tasks. We called the hotel more than 10 times and they never picked up the phone.
Complimentary breakfast is one muffin and a choice of tea or coffee.
Nothing particularly bad or good. It was not desirable but was acceptable.
