we went there on an organised trip by the travel agency tours4fun/West Coast Holidays on August the 16th. We were just arrived from a coach trip of around 5 hours from Yosemite park, really tired and hoping to finally relax/sleep. We soon realised that was not possible as the management of the hotel decided to have a party for its employees in the swimming pool of the hotel, with music very aloud (we were in our bedroom but it was like being in a disco). We ended up in the reception multiple times and with other guests had to threat the hotel staff we would have called the police if the party wasn't stopped immediately. The manager (a lady with Asian features) was quite rude and patronising and told us 'this is the only time in the year we do this' and 'we will just turn down the volume' ... On top of this, the hotel location is in a in industrial area, close to a highway, nothing to do if you do not have a car to move somewhere else. Our travel agency booked for us the most economical service and included a Chinese breakfast, with boiled rice, noodles and other things I would not dare eating first thing in the morning. We asked if could have the continental breakfast at least as a refund for the annoyance of the previous day, but nope, the hotel wanted to charge us extra money for it (so we ended up having breakfast at the shop of the petrol station). I would not recommend either this hotel or the tour operators tours4fun/West Coast Holidays.
The place has a nice local yet luxurious feel. Felt like a vacation. The hotel has a beautiful pool, nice gym, big room and plenty of linen. Staff had great customer service! Free breakfast was potatoes eggs pancakes sausage and cereal with plenty of fresh coffee and juice.
Good price, complimentary breakfast, free parking, free wifi, vending machines that take cards also. Has a pool. Downside is the rooms smell musty. Need to deep clean the rooms and get new A/C units to help with the mildew in there.
Rooms were extremely smelly dirty bedshhets terrible breakfast the pools is nothing like the images There was not a single person at the reception around 9:30 their vending machines don't even work propely
Ehh.... you get what you pay for. Decent hotel, good for a few days. The pool is NOT what the pics look like.... the lobby is pretty gross. We traveled all day from Baltimore, our plane was late, we were exhausted and really just wanted to get some rest. We got to the hotel at 2:15.... check in was supposed to be at 3, we asked to check in early & were told the was a $20 fee, (even in a 5 star I've never been charged) but ok, we were done. But! Surprise! None were available..... we were told we would have to wait until 3. Then, 10 minutes later (as we are sitting in the lobby), a guy comes in &asks to...lol check in early, he magically gets a room.... needles to say.... little irritated at this point... other then this, the hotel does the job. 2/3 star at best. Good location, not far from the airport or downtown. Malibu/venice/Hollywood also close. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. Starbucks and a decent diner across the street. So, over all I would not recommend if you looking for the Hyatt, but def a budget friendly hotel that gets the job done.
