Before even checking in I noticed the outside windows dirty and the blinds shabby. Upon enteri g the room it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The beds were made however there was dust on the furniture. Two chairs beside the large table were filthy. The table itself still had food residue on it. Bathroom filthy toilet tank didn't match the rest of the toilet. Only the cold water tap was operational. Hair in the corners on the floor.
Disgusting,!

We checked in late around 9 after an hour drive, the place seems full. We had 2 double bed reserved thru Wyndham online, when we checked in, it was over 12 charge. We tried to point out, and even showed our reservation, the clerk just said she didn’t know, but just whatever her computer system showed and printed out. We were tired and didn’t know what to do and about $93 a night at that time, was cheapest we could find, so we thought we could just tell the Wyndham about it next day.
We noticed the receipt had different reservation confirmation number, and room had queen size bed, not 2 double as we reserved. We didn’t think of any different since it happened to us before and without any extra charge. We called or emailed Wyndham, all they said was we had upgraded, that’s why about $12 more. But we didn’t ask for upgrade, and confirmation number wasn’t same. I am thinking they created another booking with my original booking information and charged me extra. Wyndham doesn’t care any of it.
The bedroom door keycard didn’t work, my husband had to go back to front desk and rekey, and still didn’t work. Went back twice and finally they sent someone over to find out it needed new battery. The light bulb in the vanity area went out one, so it was kind of dark, they didn’t care to come and put one in.
Breakfast was ok, that was one thing I could remember as a positive side.

Can’t find room, because all the numbers on doors are faded out.
No carpets, or rugs. Just cold hard floor.
Placed among permanent residents, with junk vechicles taking up parking.
And listening to them up doing whatever until 3am.

Bed is terrible, lumpy. Pretty much worst stay ever, and I have had a few bad ones ending up in places were nothing else was available.

Didn’t bother to see what they setup for breakfast, as I couldn’t wait to get out, and find a different place to go...

My current gig requires me go to different towns pretty regularly, and usually I'm a nothing-fancy kinda guy and have even stayed in worse conditions, but this is still worth writing about.

When I was making my reservation on Expedia, this won the bid between another place that was a few bucks cheaper by the mere fact that they SAID they included breakfast, and you typically have to ask for the shampoo (which I almost always forget to ask since I've come to expect those things to be in or near the shower).

However, I check in and get into the room... Never mind the fact that it's a bit old, but I hear the sound of water running; the flush lever came loose. I inform the front desk about it and she offers to switch rooms, but it'd have to be on the 2nd floor.

Since I have to recharge my equipment (and some of it was kinda heavy), I told her that I'll just hand-tighten the lever myself and advised her to have Maintenance wrench it into place the next morning.

Remember how breakfast was a deciding factor? According to them, they stopped offering breakfast the week prior, and apparently they tried to tell Expedia but they haven't made the adjustment yet.

Also worth noting: They said that they had to shut off the water at 8 AM, but they didn't verbally remind anybody or hand me one of the many flyers they've made; I only found out when I was having to tell them about the toilet and saw it taped to one of the doors in the lobby.

The staff was not friendly at all and treated the line of customers very rudely and the room smelled like smoke so much that it made our clothes smell like it. The rooms are rundown, neither the cable not the Internet worked.
