We recently stayed in Snowdance 303B. It seems to have been updated and the carpet appeared new. We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it to others. I would have liked a newer mattress in the master bedroom. It was a bit saggy. However, after skiing all day I was just thrilled to have a place to lie down!
The location is really good. Easy to walk to the mountain house base area in regular shoes. I would not want to walk it in my ski boots. There are plenty of lockers to rent ($6/day) in the Mountain House. They also have large baskets that can be rented for multiple days. We chose to check our skis each night for $5/pair and carry our boots each morning from the condo.
I would definitely stay here again.
P.S. The Goat Bar is a very short walk from the Snowdance condos for a cocktail. Kind of a dive but interesting.
Excellent, room is clean, comfortable and quite. the location is very close to ski sites.
the front office are friendly and efficient. The breakfast arrangement is really helpful to get enough energy for doing the things in the day.
It is definitely worthy of the money. I do have plan to return in the forthcoming ski trip. I would have no hesitation to recommend this place.
While the location was great with easy access to the lifts and ease of travel via bus to other locations - the property itself left a lot to be desired. The bathrooms were dirty and the carpet did not look like it had been cleaned after the last guests had left. There were food particles on the carpet in the bedrooms among other things. The sofas did not look like they had been wiped down either. Since we were there for 5 days - the housekeeping folks were supposed to come half way through with clean towels and to take out trash and that did not happen. Also very little cleaning supplies were left for use in dishwasher etc. The utensils need to be changed out over a period of time as there is a lot of wear and tear on a lot of them. The mattresses in the rooms also need to be changed out over a period of time as they are starting to get lumpy in some of the bedrooms. Also there were only breakfast coupons given for 2 bedrooms though the property advertises that 10 guests can stay as the loft is a bedroom too - there should be flexibility when 10 people stay and the loft is used as a bedroom, for at least 6 breakfast coupons to be given. It looked like there were pets in some of the units though the website said they were not allowed and one of the days one of the dogs peed right outside the door. It is okay to allow pets but if they are allowed proper steps need to be taken to make sure that there is adequate cleaning done in case of accidents. There was also a stench one of the days that felt like a dead rat/hair burning/poop. Overall we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo we stayed at - it has the potential to be a great property given its location but needs a through review of housekeeping practices, utensils and amenities replacement schedule etc and implementing those appropriately
A great experience, our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We checked in a one bedroom apartment at the Snowdance - Key to the Rockies between Dec 26 - 31. The location was great and less than 60 yards away from the Argentine and Peru lifts. The apartment was very homey and spacious. The queen size bed was very comfortable but the sofa-bed not as much. After the 1st night, our 13 years old son was happier to pull the mattress on the floor and sleep on it. The room was very clean and the fire place was great to have after a long and cold day on the slopes. You should know that house keeping is offered only once every 5 days.
A ski equipment rental shop and a pizza restaurant were less than 20 yards away and a great Mexican restaurant within 5 minutes walk across the street. The two ladies at the front desk were great. It took us less than 3 minutes to check in and less than 1 minute to check out.
We definitely recommend Snowdance and Key to the Rockies for families and couples that need a little more space.
A great experience for my family, I would recommend to families or couples. Booked through TAN vacations, which was very easy with check in etc... Beautiful views of the mountains, very relaxing. Room was clean & well kept.
