After helping a family member relocate across country, we needed a place to stay for a few days while she got settled. The Magic Tree Resort was perfect for our needs! The staff members were especially friendly, helpful and accommodating. I plan to use the Magic Tree Resort as a home base again when visiting in the future!

As shared by other reviewers, the Magic Tree Resort is an older "motel" style property, but it has been completely rehabbed. The air conditioning unit was strong and effective. The walls have probably been heavily insulated - I know I had neighbors but did not hear them at all. The appliances all worked well, including the stove (so nice to be able to cook rather than eat out all the time), both televisions (one in living room, one in the bedroom) were problem-free and offered many channels, including music. The sofa bed in the living room was the high quality "platform" kind (no horrible bar in the middle). The king sized bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the bedroom. The landscaping and pool area is lovely, although we did not swim. There are BBQs available as well as shuffleboard and an oversized checkers game. There is a large laundry room that (only) takes credit cards ($1.00 per wash or dry). The main "clubhouse" building has a nice fitness center, a movie theater showing a newer movie each day (with several showtimes throughout the day), a game room (including consoles for video games), a small "library" of books and DVDs and a good sized "owners lounge". There is a representative on-site who can help with discounted tickets to the various Orlando amusement parks and attractions, but there was absolutely no pressure. I was not even offered a timeshare presentation.

There are easy procedures in place if you should need fresh towels or trash removed and a way to signal that you don't want housekeeping to enter until late afternoon (especially good for this West Coast resident!). The unit was clean. The kitchen was stocked with all that we needed for our few days. My only suggestion to the Magic Tree (and to every other timeshare property I've ever stayed in as well) is to provide at least one decent kitchen/chef knife. Other than not having my own knives, our stay at the Magic Tree Resort truly had the feel of being "at home".

We stayed here in a two-bedroom condo for a medical conference at the WDW Coronado Resort. After the traffic, the long sessions, the hustle and bustle of everything Walt Disney World, it was refreshing to "come home" and relax.

There's a brand new super Walmart right next door, which was both convenient and annoying. It was an easy jaunt to get groceries and gas, but car alarms blasted at all hours of the night. It's not Magic Tree's fault. Just request a room where the bedrooms are opposite from the Walmart parking lot. And invest in some ear plugs!

Magic Tree has a free laundry area, gas BBQs (which they cleaned religiously every morning), a small playground, two pools, a fitness center, a tennis court, etc., but it's small enough to feel refreshed.

We had two bedrooms (one king, two queens), two bathrooms, plenty of storage space, a full kitchen (thank you, Roomies, for the ice cream and the wine), and a large living room with a large couch. They came every day to exchange our towels.

The staff was wonderful and personable. We were very well taken care of! For example: I had expected a letter to be sent to me while I was there but it had not arrived before I left. After I got home, I called and spoke to Patti (?) and she took the time to go through stuff to see if she could find it for me. Even though she was unsuccessful, I really appreciated her going the extra mile for me!

This place is a hidden gem!!

This was our 2nd stay, and we saw some upgrades had been done since last visit. This is a wonderful resort! So many amenities, you don’t need to leave. Rooms are adequate, would like to see safes in the rooms since it’s their policy that housekeeping come in every day even if you have do not disturb noted. Even though the only thing they do is check for dirty towels and trash. Landscaping is beautiful, very tropical. When we were there, the tennis court was tore up, I hope they are in the process of fixing it. Very warm, deep pool. They have a game room with TVs & game consoles/game chairs, a nice gym (would like a water station in gym) foosball table, ping pong, shuffleboard, cornhole, playground, free board games/movie check out, bbq grills, propane fire pit, just very nice peaceful setting with tons to do. They said to my son they don’t allow any flotation devices or toys in the pool, but every day the pool was full of older folks on “noodles”...didn’t understand that. All in all a great place, would not hesitate to return.
