Was a great place clean and friendly spots were nicely spaced for room and privacy. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly and helpful in whatever you needed. The laundry however really needs an update and more of them.

Not a campground I would suggest for travelers, their priority is the seasonal campers. The weekend campers are given a site in a gravel pit with minimal green space and very little room. Will not be returning.

DON'T stay at Pine Country 1000 trails in Belvidere, Ill, UNLESS you want no shade, want traffic noise and like lots of mosquitoes. Talked to Mari at the desk because apparently they DON'T man the gatehouse and she informed us that 90% of the park is sold to annuals and they only have to have 10% for those of us traveling through. Those traveling are put in a dirt and rock open area with a little crab grass and away from the amenities area. Laundry room is a joke and if you use the one and only washing machine that is working, expect your white clothes to come out orange from the minerals. We will not return to this 1000 Trails. Very disappointed!

Pine country rv and camping is a great place to go for a relaxing weekend. My group had a tent site. The site had plenty of room for two tents. One 4 person and one 5 person. The site also had a picnic table, grill, and a fire pit. All of which was clean and useable. There were a lot of mosquitoes but we got them under control with a fire and tiki torches. They have good showers, a clean chlorine pool, and lots of fun activitiesthing in the club house/ commons area.
