Our most beautiful day, the day of our marriage, we owe it to “Domaine des Grottes” and especially to it’s owner, the most efficient Thalia. She organized our wedding through and through with the most beautiful flower-arrangements, lovely set tables for our 110 guests from all over the world and a perfect “traiteur”. The Provencal scenery with the blooming
lavender was magical and the next-day brunch with a pool-party and pink flamingos all over the pool was a divine and joyous moment.
Our huge and beautiful decorated honey-moon suite completed this magical moment of our life.
Thank you,
sweet Thalia

Excellent mini stately home with rolling parkland views. Five rooms only. Spotlessly clean room, enormous bathroom. If, like me, you have always dreamt of living in Blenheim Palace or Chatsworth House, or another stately home, then this is the place to replicate the experience.

Incredibly personal service from the owner, Thalia. It is the little touches that count and of these there were many in the 24 hours we were there - parking my car, taking great care over a wine recommendation for us, recommending a restaurant, booking it for us, requesting a special tapas dish from the chef for us, drawing a little map to show us how to get there, and more....

Previous reviewers have noted the five resident dogs, however if you are not dog-lovers, like ourselves, there is no issue at all. They are kept in their own area and do not intrude upon you.

We will be going back again in the summer when the pool is warm and the poolside BBQ and bar is open!

The arrival at this place was quite surprising. You enter the gate and see a beautiful house with a great garden and know that you will have a great stay. In the end everything turned out to be the other way around.

For the price of the rooms you may expect an interiour with high design. This is also something the hostess says when she shows you the room. Unfortunately if you have a closer look, you'll find out that every is from Ikea.

The hostess clearly doesn't have an idea of what French exquise is. Everything is very messy and not organised.

Conclusion: The price is out of range for the service you get and the quality of the facilities.

We would never come back again and advise others to have a look at other places.

Beautiful, serene property, everything is designed with sensitivity, top standards and excellent taste, service very personal. The suites are spacious and offer very comfortable luxury. One of the best getaways in South of France. I cant wait to return.

We spent a week end at the Domaine and it was perfect ... better than a hotel. The house is in a middle of a massive property that includes a vineyard ... and also a beautiful swimming pool area. The rooms are similar to 'suite format' but with a better taste when it comes to decoration. All furniture are of high quality which include decoration, bed, bathroom, etc. . Breakfast (from the pool house that offers an impressive view) and dinner were in line with the rest. Finally, the hostess was efficient, kind and nice with us. The only conclusion is to recommend this place !!!!!
