Gym review highlights
... The room included a nice desk area, a new microwave and new, large mini frig. The pool area included a hot tub, was a good size and clean. The gym was a little small for the hotel, but got the job done and was very well kept and cool. The only complaint we had was that there was a farm and...
... gravy. As a platinum priority club member i got upgraded to a suite which was huge, the room had a fridge and wet bar. I didn't like that the gym wasn't 24 hours but other than that I didn't really have any major complaints. Rooms were very clean, carpet was showing its wear, bathrooms...
... a bit unusual how if your on the backside of the hotel the view is looking directly into someones backyard. We all slept very well and enjoyed the hot cocoa and continental breakfast. The fitness center was also nice, there were weights and treadmils provided. We would stay here again if needed.

The hotel room price was a little more than the average hotel in the area, but included a great breakfast with lots of hot and cold options, free wifi that had strong bandwidth, free and abundant parking and an indoor pool and hot tub.

Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and a large TV with every kind of input type. The room included a nice desk area, a new microwave and new, large mini frig. The pool area included a hot tub, was a good size and clean. The gym was a little small for the hotel, but got the job done and was very well kept and cool.

The only complaint we had was that there was a farm and miniature grain dryer RIGHT outside of our window on the second floor. The area around this hotel is not the best with an old storage locker facility right right between the hotel and Lakeport Street, but the location provides easy and quick access to the interstate and highways.

All-in-all a very good experience for us and we will definitely look to this hotel again if we stay in Sioux City in the future!

Pretty nice holiday inn express. good location near the southern mall, good location near restaurants etc. Breakfast is good for a holiday inn express not many healthy options but i realize this is the midwest and we love our biscuits and gravy.

As a platinum priority club member i got upgraded to a suite which was huge, the room had a fridge and wet bar. I didn't like that the gym wasn't 24 hours but other than that I didn't really have any major complaints.

Rooms were very clean, carpet was showing its wear, bathrooms were clean albeit a bit spartan. will stay again when in the area.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting family. Like most Hampton Inn's it was a wonderful hotel. The location is ideal if your visiting the mall and it has easy access to the interstate, but we thought it was a bit unusual how if your on the backside of the hotel the view is looking directly into someones backyard. We all slept very well and enjoyed the hot cocoa and continental breakfast. The fitness center was also nice, there were weights and treadmils provided. We would stay here again if needed.

This hotel is conveniently located 5-10 minutes from just about everything in the city! It's right off the highway and brand new. It looks new and feels new which is nice. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I was in town for business had a suite for $109 a night/. There was a tiny kitchen area (sink, microwave and fridge) and a very spacious living room and sleeping area. The bathroom had granite countertops that were gorgeous and spanish tile that looked amazing. The bed was all made up and had a selection of hard and soft pillows. The breakfast was a typical contentinental breakfast offered at a hotel- I do credit the hotel for the variety. The coffee was excellent and available all day. They had a variety of yogurt cereal and hot food. Bagels and doughnuts were fresh as well. There is a gym but it is a small room that consists of a treadmill, eliptical and bike. They are all new and in nice condition. There are no free weights. There is a SnapFitness gym close by and you can get a week pass for it at some of the local retailers. Around the corner is the Lakeport Shopping Center which is new and has plenty of places to eat. Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Robbin, Olive Garden and a sub shop and little Mexican take out place are all there. There is also the Southern Hills Mall and Hyvee Grocery store are acroos the street. Overall great stay in Sioux City and high reccomend!
