Easy to find with plenty of parking behind the estate. We stayed in a king bed room with a shower. The bathroom was shared by two rooms. The other room was unoccupied, don’t think my wife would have stayed if we had to share with another couple. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the coffee was excellent. Rooms and estate were clean. Call when you firm up your arrival time to be sure someone meets you, we arrived at 5 PM.

The furnishings here are lovely and the beds were comfortable but there was a lot to be desired in our stay. The tv's and remotes were not programmed. One room had no toilet paper. There were no cups with the coffee maker. The bathroom rug was wet. The staff turned on a porch light late at night which shown directly in one room and they did not come back to turn it off. Worst of all, the staff woke all of our party at 5 am with extremely loud talking, carrying on and slamming what sounded like pots and pans in the kitchen. After sharing some of this with the owner, who was quite nice, we expected he would offer some remedy or adjust our bill; that did not happen. I've never stayed at a B and B before that had so little focus on traveler comfort or amenities.

Room Tip: Stop by for lunch during the week, but stay at one of the other B and B's or hotels.

Heavenly location in the historic district, in a beautifully manicured estate home. Loved the service, the staff, the room, the spacious décor, and the chef's preparation of meals is one of the best anywhere!
