Although our expectations were not high, this cabin was absolutely unacceptable. We would not recommend this 'resort' to anyone.
Cabin #11 was outdated, unclean, and unsafe. The cabin had a bad floor that was wavy and had a terrible slope. The wallpaper was not clean and was coming down in many places. One room had a moldy substance in the corner near the bed.
When we plugged in a hairdryer into one outlet, the outlet melted the plastic near the prongs. The next outlet we used shocked the person holding the item. The one working outlet pulls clear out of the wall when you try to unplug anything from it. There is a hole in the kitchen wall that lead to the outside, which is probably where some of the bugs were coming in. Throughout the entire week-long stay, there was a large amount of bugs and spiders in the cabin.
The bathroom was the size of a closet. It had a broken vanity and mirror, and the pipes that run along the floor are covered by wood casings that are not connected to the floor. If you step on the wood casings, they will roll and are dangerous.
Although the cabin is supposed to sleep 5 people, there are not enough eating utensils for even 4 people. The 5th person will also have to sleep on an old, dirty futon that is not comfortable. Cabin #11 also does not get any WiFi, even though it is advertised. The pictures provided on the website are out of date and do not accurately show the cabin as it is today.

Literally an 11x13 foot cabin that included bedroom, kitchen, dining table and bathroom. Clearly very little extra space, but adequate for a couples weekend getaway. Location is great. Between Duluth and Two Harbors, and across the road from a harbor on Lake Superior, it's a quiet retreat, but don't expect fancy. Cabin #12 was clean but could use some updating. Bed was too soft for our comfort. Friendly, trusting staff left the key in the door of our cabin as we arrived late and gave great site seeing tips.

Great little place to stay. Cabins and hotel rooms are comfy and quaint. Could use some updating but the beds are comfortable, the fridge and kitchen appliances work great, the water is hot with great pressure and everything is clean. Staff is very friendly and we had a lot of fun meeting some of the other guests around the campfire at night. Only draw back was the TV in the room was a little 13" tv. We will stay here again.

We just needed a place to lay our heads. The room was OK for that. The beds were kind of like a canyon and the shower was falling apart. Carpet looked dirty and the bed spread was ripped. Nice location, inexpensive for peak season and they had a community fire pit. I would stay there again.

This was a terrible place to stay . Cabin #5 was so small you couldn't turn around in it and the 13" TV left alot to be desired. Room was dirty and had alot of flies, will tell all my co workers at 3M this is not the pace to stay, way over priced for this cabin. Way to take advantage of your customers
