The cabin was perfect, exactly as described and pictured online. My boyfriend and I are already planning a return trip to watch it snow from the hot tub on the porch! We stayed in The Oak cabin and it had plenty of pots, pans, spices and kitchen utensils. We cooked almost every meal at he cabin on the stove or the provided gas grill. Heater/air conditioner was functioning perfectly, electric fireplace lovely. Tv swiveled so you could watch it from the bed, the couch or outside porch lol shower was great my 6’1” boyfriend showered with plenty of room. The provided Towels and sheets were soft and comfortable alone with the bed. Plenty of storage. The cabin decorations were adorable and there were too many fabulous homey touches to mention. We slept well, ate well, relaxed and reset our minds. Thank you!!! We will be back!!!
The cabin had everything we wanted and needed! The hot tub was our favorite and we loved that the TV could move around to watch in living room and bedroom! It was SO clean and lots of privacy! Washer and dryer provided that we always had clean, dry towels because we got in the hot tub several times per day! The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were just like home!
My husband and I and our two dogs stayed in Hound Heaven. It was the perfect sized cabin for 2 +2. Fully stocked kitchen with granite counters, range with oven, full fridge and gas grill made meals easy. Living area has nice 40' Flat Screen TV with DirectTV premium and digital music. Bedroom has comfy queen sized bed with lots of pillows and blankets. Also has pocket doors for privacy. Bathroom has good sized shower with plenty of water pressure and hot water. There is a small washer dryer if needed. The private hot tub on the porch with a gorgeous view was my favorite part.
My husband and I are from NH and stayed at the Pine Cabin. It was small and quaint, and decorated perfectly for a log cabin. I won't lie, there was a bit of a wet dog smell (as others mentioned), but we are dog lovers too (although we don't have one), and almost expect that of a small place that allows dogs. We bought ourselves an air freshener put it in front of the air conditioner, and voila, it smelled all flowery.
That aside, we LOVED the cabin and would definitely stay there again. It's secluded by itself down a long driveway into the woods. It was VERY clean. It had every amenity that you could think of to feel at home (dishes, dish soap, toaster, utensils, pots, pans, paper towels, trash bags, etc. etc. etc.). The towels were luxurious, not like Brillo pads, and it even had a washer and dryer in the room. They even supplied a binder loaded with places to eat, sigh see, etc., complete with menus, pamphlets and more. We used it a lot and even took it with us when we went out.
The hot tub was such a bonus. We were in there every morning and every night. We even got to see a deer on the edge of the woods next to our cabin.
We never did see the owners, or anyone for that matter, but that was ok with us. We just wanted to get away and relax, and THAT we did!!! One note.. if you get car sick, this might not be the place for you, ha ha. The road is several miles of total zig zag, way up into the mountains. We loved it but others may find it nauseating. ha ha
Thanks again for everything!!!
We rented the Pine Cabin. The privacy was perfect and better than advertised. The owners thought of every detail and the cabin was very well stocked with cooking supplies and household items. Loved the mountain decor with black bears decorations and it was clean and cozy. Beautiful vanity and countertops. The perfect size for two people. Bedroom had pocket doors, kitchen had microwave, oven, coffee maker, hot tub, spacious porch, a grill, and warm shower. TV was a flat screen with direct TV. No internet connection or wifi, but it was actually nice to be unplugged. Plenty to do in the area. Cabin was located just outside of town and close to hiking trails, including parts of the AT. Loved our stay and highly recommended for a romantic getaway!
