This is a former farmhouse located in a rual position about half a mile outside the built up area of Seahouses. There only appear to be 2 b&b rooms, the very friendly proprietors also having nearby holiday lets. Our bedroom was of good size, well decorated and equipped with a fully equipped ensuite. Very full english breakfast (ordered the previous night) with all the trimmings - cereal, fruit juice, jam, toast etc. served in a pleasant dining room with a view of the garden which is available to guests. Plenty of local information sheets an brochures in the entrance hall and dining room, also a good selection of OS maps - please return after use. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Stayed here a couple of nights what a lovely place perfect location between Seahouses and Bamburgh .
The room was very clean and spacious , there was also a fridge on the landing with fresh milk in.
Breakfast was excellent with different choices. Would recommend this place and definitely return again .
Very spacious room with king size bed that was very comfortable. High quality espresso machine replenished daily plus fresh milk in the fridge at the end of the landing. Clean and roomy bathroom with good shower and bath. Excellent breakfast with varied choice. Everything you would want for a relaxing stay. Defiantly would stay again
We stayed here for 2 nights to visit family and friends staying at the nearby Springhill Farm wigwams, and were made very welcome by the owners. Their home was warm and inviting, and the room with en suite very comfortable. One slight disappointment was the bed was double rather than the advertised king, but it was fine for one night. The breakfast was varied and delicious and a veggie option was offered too. There was a bowl of forest fruits which was delicious to start the day before a full English breakfast. I would recommend this lovely house to anyone wanting to stay near Seahouses, and the warm hospitality was welcome. There were lots of brochures and suggestions for places to visit, as well as a bottle of water in the fridge for us. We had asked for skimmed milk and it was there on our 2nd morning, then when we left we were offered it to take with us. A really kind gesture! We would definitely book again if we needed accommodation in the area.
My husband and I had a short break in Northumberland which was made all the better by our stay in this lovely B & B. Jackie and Nick were very welcoming and friendly. The room was huge with beautiful views across the countryside. It was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There was plenty of information available regarding places to visit in the area and also where to eat. We would definitely recommend Westfield B & B.
