We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. The views were awesome. My kids loved the pool. Showers were clean. We asked for a shady spot and it was fairly close to the bath house and was nice and flat. Did laundry there and machines all worked adequately though it costed a little more than I was expecting. The store was nice and they had a little mining station for the kids which was cute. We had ok internet but we didn’t really go there to go online or watch tv.
Came here on a recommendation from a friend and he was right! The RV spots are good sized and mostly level. Our spot was in the trees and had fantastic views. Not packed in like sardines and you can choose shade or more open spots. Bath houses are clean and showers were hot. The general store is convenient to have on site. Pool was clean but busy at times, which can be expected. Lot's of campers, but it was also very quiet. Glad we spent our vacation here!!!
We had a full hook up campsite. It was super level. I didn’t have to level from side to side only front to back, not every site was like this, but more were like this than I have ever seen. Tho shower house was very clean and the showers were top notch. The location was perfect to everything we wanted to do. The firewood bundles were small but I can live with that. The pool was clean and heated. Outstanding views. I will return!!!
Yes, this RV campground is expensive, however, it is amazing! Huge sites (most in shade), nice store, playground, pool, etc. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Everything you would need AND close to Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave, Custer State Park, and Crazy Horse. Spend the money and stay here - you’ll be glad you did!
One of the top campgrounds in the US for a reason! Spacious, well maintained campsites. Nice pool and camp store. Close to all of the area attractions and right on the bike trail! We will definitely be back!
