Great location, extremely clean property on quiet site. We had booked a caravan for a 3 night break. Cost of £65.00 per night (similar to B&B rate). The 3 bedroom caravan meant we had space to move about. Quiet site (time of year) Split our South Devon holiday into two parts - stayed in Ashburton area for 3 days and then went further south for a further 3 days.
Would certainly come back and on our radar for a further visit to explore Dartmoor.
Obviously - during Covid main attractions were limited access/or closed. That didn't stop us visiting the coastal towns. Weather was very warm.

WOW! So I last visited Parkers when I was a child with my parents approximately 20/25 years ago! After having to cancel our France holiday mum suggested I got untouch to see if they had any last minute vacancies. Although they didn't when I called, the gods smiled down and Parkers rung me back a week later with a cancellation. Luckily it was a dog friendly static which suited us, as we needed to bring doggo on this occasion. I was a little worried as they kept reiterating that it was the dog friendly static and may show signs of having had dogs present but assured me of the cleanliness. This didn't bother us being dog owners but did flag up in my mind. Fast forward 2 weeks and we arrive. The static was absolutely blooming brilliant! Dog friendly or not it was in good condition, really clean and tidy and more than enough room for all 5 of us to settle and not be on top of each other (kids are 7 & 10-so annoy each other frequently). Parkers is a great base to pretty much anywhere. Its family run and Colin & Staff are all absolutely lovely!! We spent some of our evenings down in the bar and had tea there too. Social distancing was accounted for and a place for track and trace info to be filled in each evening. The food was bloody brilliant! Not a huge menu but big portions, good quality, home made and locally sourced all making it really good value for money.
Then there was Gary....
....if my kids could have smuggled him home, I think they would have! He waz great for the kids and grown ups alike when it came to supplying the evening entertainment and gave everyone a good giggle. Gary also did the farm walks throughout the week which we did twice. He was great at engaging the kids, they all loved feeding the animals (and this mumma bear also secretly loved it too having previously worked with all the same species bar alpacas and ponies myself). Then of course it was finished off with a tractor ride courtesy of Colin which took us right to the top of the farm giving us some awesome views of the Devon countryside.

I'm sure the site is a lot bigger now than I remember (but i was alot smaller!) And loved the fact the trampolines are still a feature. It was lovely after coming with my parents to be able to share the same experiences with my kids. They loved it!! We will definitely be back!!

If your looking for a good base to explore, that is good value for money without ripping you off and a lovely family feel, then this family run holiday park is for you.

We camped here towards the end of July, our pitch was very big and well looked after, we were greeted by very friendly staff and showed to our pitch, no problems with electric and a tv point was also there, we went down to the bar and was served by fantastic staff, beer cheap at £4 for a pint of Stella, food was not expensive and you get quite a lot for your money and tasted fresh and lovely as well, we did the farm walk with Gary and it was so much fun with Gary cracking jokes all the way around whilst the kids fed the various animals, Gary also did the night time entertainment and looked after all the children with bags of laughter all the way plus the fun nights for the adults as well, laugh a minute it was, there's a games room for the children and plenty to do for them, toilets and showers are kept nice and clean and is all in all a fantastic family run site, we have already booked for August bank holiday and for next year as well, it's simply that good, very highly recommend, from Sean, kash and Anthony, by the way you missed out on your curry 🤣🤣

We stayed in a cottage for 8 and it was ideal. My mom is disabled so the downstairs bedroom with en suite was ideal. Great welcome from Mick! Fab stay, cottage was clean and the location was perfect. We will be back in the summer for sure. Very reasonably priced as well.
