Myself and my husband stayed in the bed and breakfast in late August. We had a wonderful time, the accomodation is spacious and very clean (it is cleaned daily) and there is an excellent choice of breakfast from ham, cheese and eggs to fresh croissant and cakes. The hosts Lara and her parents are really lovely warm and friendly people. Lara speaks excellent English, French and German (and Italian!)) and she helped to tell us about local sights and recommend a range of local restaurants. She also has a good knowledge of local wines of which she keeps a selection in house. Our favourite was Molina del Duca a wonderful fine dining restaurant with good prices a 10 minute drive away in the small village of Cesi up in the mountains. There are also good pizzerias in Terni which is also a short drive away. The location is very good: you are about 8 minutes drive from a quiet part of Terni with a couple of supermarkets and restaurants (the bed and breakfast itself is located up a quiet country lane just outside of Terni, where it becomes rural quickly and into the mountains). To get to the main part of the town is about a 15 minute drive where there are alot of chic shops and many restaurants. We visited the Marmore falls which are nearby and spectacular and Narni castle which is also beautiful and is rumoured to be the inspiration for C.S Lewis' chronicles of Narnia. It is a perfect base for exploring southern Umbria with many pretty hill villages and towns to see.

Ou favourtite part of the stay was relaxing by the beautiful clean crystal clear swimming pool in the olive trees, bliss! Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We liked the premium room best as the bed is large and comfortable although all the rooms are good.

Beautiful garden and super friendly owner (Lara). The house and room with private bathroom were very clean. We stayed only 1 night but can definetely recommend the place. Good breakfast and liked the fact that there were little night lamps in the hall that switch on/off automatically so at night no need to search for the light when entering the house.
Lara had sufficient recommendations for lunch or dinner. In the surroundings there is a lot to do and beautiful nature to explore. In summertime the pool (equipped with a spacious outdoor shower cabin) is a great treat but even during autumn/winter this zone is definitely very attractive as having beautiful places such as Viterbo and Spoleto nearby.

We dropped by for one day, ended up staying three and will certainly go back. The house has a wonderful olive garden and is very peaceful. It was a paradise for my son who wondered around and splashed in the pool, I was able to relax a lot and enjoyed the owners' company very much. Spacious rooms ( superclean) very homely living and dining rooms, lovely terracotta sculptures.
