Everything about the B & B is PERFECT! The location, our hostess, Gaia was incredibly helpful and patient. The room was immaculate and breakfast wonderful! Highly recommend if you do not need to be directly on the port side. Just one block off and access to so much! LOVELY town Trani. A complete surprise!

Train is a lovely little town in easy proximity to Bari. Tabula Maris was an excellent find in a great location. Booked a studio room which was located on the first floor. Spacious lounge with a small kitchen and the bedroom, wc & shower is on the mezzanine above. Very modern feel and room was clean. We were welcomed by our host Letizia who was lovely. She (and other hosts) could be found at a shop opposite the B&B. Breakfast is at a neighbouring property belonging to the B&B. Breakfast was lovely. Definitely a B&B worth considering. We were very pleased with our choice. Only point of note - the parking could be a problem. We parked away from the B&B near the port. You may be fortunate to stumble on a space in the neighbouring Piazza, but just be aware! Thank you Tabula Maris! Really loved our stay!! 👍👍

Beautiful place in trendy Trani, but the noise is unbearable. We had a beautiful room, but the windows need to be replaced urgently. They provide no isolation from the noisy street. Saturday night life was inside our room. If you want a peaceful stay, avoid!!!

Trani

Arrived at Bari Airport, got train to Bari Centrale 5 euros, then from Bari Central to Trani another train 3.5 euros. All easy and quick.

Short walk from train station to Tabula Maris B&B. Marina had contacted me by text before I arrived to advise she would be in the shop facing the apartment.

The room was spacious, it had a mini bar which we did not use. The bathroom was an ok size. Roof terrace was lovely, we spent a couple of hours sunbathing up there.

The breakfast was not so good but there was something to eat and the girls were lovely.

Tip, if like me you like tea, bring your own teabags.

The location was good, ‘street burger’ just to the right as you come out of the apartment is well worth a visit. It’s strange as in the day everywhere is closed then at night the doors open up and there are lots of bars and restaurants.

Also when you come out of the apartment turn right and then right again up one of the streets, in that area at night lots of people go for ice cream,2 euros for a tub of 3 flavours, lovely.

If you come out of the apartment, again turn right, along the street is a little walk in Rio with lots of self service machines, cans bottles, sweets, chocolate. Very convenient and reasonable.

Again if a night come out of the apartment, turn right then go to the end of the street and take a left as though you are going down to the water, but take your first right. Here you will find a square and at night lots of people gather eating pizza and chips.

The harbour is fan and only 5 mins walk away. I really enjoyed Trani.

We stayed here for 5 nights based on the trip advisor reviews and we really enjoyed our stay. On arrival the proprietor had upgraded our room to a suite due to the length of time we were staying so in addition the the very comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom we had a fully equipped kitchen and living area. The decor of the B & B is very modern, everything is provided and the host was extremely helpful, she spoke very good english which certainly helps. Parking is in a private car park a few minutes walk away but there is a convenient shuttle so this isn't a problem. B & B reception is in a shop opposite the property and breakfast is on a roof terrace. The breakfast is very good and varied. The B & B is in a very good location, central to everything and it is very quiet at night. The roof terrace is ideal for star gazing!. We would recommend this property.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5 which was on the first floor, the stairs are quite steep to the other floors.
