I guess I shouldn’t have expected much for a $30 room. It was very outdated and old.
Our room thou had been improved with fresh paint and decor. The bed was comfortable and lots of room to put the dog crate. The wall are paper thin and it was difficult to sleep because we could hear our neighbor.
Our room patio door didn’t have lock so they put a metal bar at the bottom.
The way to get out of the hotel is thru a long corridor with double door to go outside. The ground was dark and anybody from the street could come in. Actually as I was waiting for my husband near a door, a homeless man just open the door and came in. That made me very uncomfortable to take my dog out at night, knowing anybody could be walking those corridor, so my husband took the dog out for me.
I would not stay here again.
First of all, we were given a plastic credit card to open the side door near the parking plot, but it fact the door didn't lock. Front desk man said none of the exterior doors lock. Hmmm. Went to the desk to ask about the breakfast and witnessed an argument where another guest was complaining that her room wasn't clean. Ours was but the hallways appeared to not have been vacuumed in a few days. Furniture and decor VERY outdated and ugly (looks nothing like the photos). Breakfast was served in the adjacent diner and hotel guests received an abbreviated hot breakfast menu which was fine. We would not stay there again.
The motel is conveniently located off the I95. Check-in and check-out service was fine. It's in an older building but having said that, with the exception of the suitcase bench and the tub, everything in our room was new (flooring, furniture, tv, bed, bathroom). The bed was super comfortable. Our room was quiet. Wifi worked well. The TV picture was not very sharp. Breakfast is served in the attached River City Diner. You have five different breakfast options to choose from. It was nice to have a hot breakfast and the food was good but it is does take more time than the self-serve breakfast typically provided at a Quality Inn. We would stay again.
We had to stop here on an emergency basis for one night only. We were concerned at first due our previous experiences with Quality Inns but was pleased with the clean room and comfortable bed . The breakfast was adequate for us as well. The main concern we had was the low lighted parking lot and a lack of elevators to the 2ND story. Otherwise , it was a good value for the price. ( Note : it It was very convenient to Interstate 95 ).
Overall was quite place to stay and had no major issues. The room was quiet and comfortable. The air conditioning unit was a concern. Took awhile to cool down and didn’t sound the best. Restaurant is hooked up next to store. Had vouchers for breakfast but had 4 different selections to pick from. Was not that good. Was pleased with customer service on desk at all times.
