As soon as we arrived Olga sat us down and showed us many possibilities of things to do in Cienfuegos. Her house is in a perfect location, on a quiet street, easy to walk to parks and stores. The room was comfortable with a great bathroom and a safe. Olga helped us arrange a trip to El Nicho and to the Botanical Gardens. She also recommended several restaurants which we enjoyed.

Olga is a very openminded, warmly and friendly person, who is interested to show you the best of cienfuegos. The location is central and Olga has a lot of recommendation for her guests (only in spanish, just a little bit englisch).
Living Room in colonial style. Rooms with fridge and own bathroom, equipment is simply, our bathroom-door was just a folding door. You have the possibility to wash your laundry in the casa less money.
The breakfast was rich and good!

This is a perfect example of staying in someones house. You walk thru the front room to get to your room. The kitchen is in the back and Olga serves a wonderful breakfast. There is an honour bar in your room.
This casa is close to the main boulevard and only about 6 blocks from the bus station.

We only stayed one night but would come back and stay for a few days.

The only down side of the place is that the windows do not have screens and there are bugs at night, so we had to close the shutters.

After spending four days with Olga and her family, we were sad to say goodbye. Olga collected us from the bus and pointed out places of interest as we walked back to her lovely home. She explained what there was to see and do and how she could help in a delightful mixture of English, Spanish and mime which was perfectly understandable! The casa had a rear internal courtyard where meals were served and a rooftop patio where it was nice to relax. Our room was comfortable and we even had a fridge. Meals were very generous with fruit, eggs and homemade pastries included at breakfast and a vegetarian option for dinner which Chris enjoyed. We organised all our sightseeing through Olga, who sourced us a variety of transport including a vintage Chevy, souped up Kia and horse and cart!
