Ok first ff the hotel has a clean pool. But that does not justify the high prices it charges. The pool is unsupervised, and despite the water being very clean the pool/spa area could do with a good deep clean and paint.
The spa has a steam room, that also is in need of either some basic corrective plumbing or a clean to rid it of what can only be described as "sewage" smells.
Towels and bathrobes were supposed to be provided, as indicted by the reception, but none was found. The two small room towels were not up to the job, and we could not find any more anywhere.
The rooms are small, even for a standard Ibis - and we have stayed in a few - just big enough for the bed and about 8" clearance on each side.
Bathroom looks like it has been upgraded to a new shower and tiled walls. However the rest of the room needs improving,, There has been no care in the construction of the "chain hotel" fittings with rough cut edges and marking out lines still evident. Even the new shower area has now broken fittings from use.
The floor in our room has "rotted" by the window ( about 1m sq area ) and is lifting.
That said the room is basically clean - although the addition of spiders and ants overnight was not welcome.
The room has air con that can be left on - and should be as it takes a lot of time even in a small room to bring the temperature down from arrival heating. There is no fridge or kettle ( there rely should be for a hotel of 3 stars and over £100 per night )
We did not mind the constant noise of the air con, as it masked listening to the yapping of a poodle in the next door room.
Oh and the hotel is NOT in Sete - it is a good 20min car drive away. Why do hotels put place names in their name when they are not anywhere near ! My fault should have used a map.
That said the area is nice and secluded. There is another apartment hotel run by the same franchise I think ( not accor owned ). next door.
Car parking is good for the first few cars then the spaces become harder to find and the parking area is not tarmacked, or lit well. The security is not good as you can just press the buzzer and the gate will open - no matter what!
Lift is over 30 years old to access floor 1 or 2 and jumps a bit on arrival and departure.
Would I return. Probably. but there are other hotels in Sete
