stayed 3rd week of September for 7 nights, and found the hotel to be just lovely. The studio's are clean, comfy and well equipped (although the a grater, tin opener and a wooden spoon would be good additions).
We were originally given a room at the back to the hotel which had a shared terrace area and rather noisy AC, so we asked to move, which we did the following morning to room 159, (thanks to the team for changing for us) which was great, lovely little terrace outside our front door and french doors, kinda tucked away and nice and quiet, super comfy bed and nice, quiet and efficient AC.
Pool is fabulous, the balls, inflatables for use by the guests are a nice touch and there were plenty of sun beds around the pool area. If I travel to Kos again this would def be my choice of place to stay.

I booked this lovely place the day before i arrived. I wasn't disappointed , It was like a little paradise. beautifully maintained and authentically Greek. The room i had (103 was on the ground floor with it's own little sun trap of a patio surrounded by pretty blooming shrubs. The room came with Air con included and worked well. It had a 2 ring stove, a toaster, fridge and kettle. Everything you need. There was also a TV that showed english films in the evening, which was welcome for a solo person who didn't always want to go out in the evening, it was welcome company for me :) The staff are all really nice , they have created a really nice atmosphere . There were plenty of beds around the lovely pool, each one having a table and parasol. Mary at the pool bar never stops she is so hard working and pleasant. There is a little shop just at the back entrance that is run by a lovely couple who were always happy and chatty. I had the most perfect stay. The only downside was that i had to leave after 4 night and move to another hotel that i had booked weeks in advance. It wasn't a patch on the Nissai Kamares . I stayed from the 4th to the 8th Sept. i have only just returned from Kardamena and miss it that much i am in the process of booking a cheeky week at the beginning of October. And of course the only place to stay is The Kamares . See you soon Kostas. Room 103 will be fine thanks ;)

What drew me to this hotel originally was how it looked so ‘Greek’ - like a scene from Mamma Mia and it didn’t disappoint when we arrived. It’s beautiful. Like a little village of white washed apartments full of flowers and foliage. So pretty.

It’s very small - about 35 rooms I think and it never seemed crowded. There is a small pool surrounded by sun beds, a pool bar and a few tables and chairs.

We were B&B. Due to covid we had to order breakfast through an app and they called when it was ready - we never waited more than 5 minutes! This was served at the tables by the pool by the friendly waitress and was beautiful - full cooked breakfast, Greek yoghurt, continental etc

The location is perfect. No more than 5 minutes walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants but far enough away to not hear anything.

Drinks in the hotel were reasonably priced and Cocktails made by George are just the best ever!

The only reason I’ve not given this 5 stars is because the rooms are a bit dated inside and we had single beds which were on a concrete base so can’t be pushed together. We did book a studio so would maybe upgrade to the next room as these did seem more modern. However, everything worked perfectly and it was sparking clean so really not a problem.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and the resort in general. Kardamena was lovely and the restaurants are amazing. We had a fantastic holiday

Love this place we stqyed 1 nigjt 3 yeqrs ago and have been back twice since for 2 weeks and 1 week. I have to say the 1 week was not long enough. We use it as a base and the pool is great and bar and bar food is good value. The staff are great nella and nat. And nassa in charge. Room staff do a great job. It is typical greek ambience the beds are so good most have toppers which make them so comfy. Obviously therw can be issues vut as soon as ypu report them they try to sort it out. We can not wait for our next visit. We have got to know ex pats and some locals so home from home. We cannot recommend it highly enough

Two years on the spin, and it's not hard to see why. When people ask about your holiday it tends to be all about the location, or the food... 'the place had this, or it was near that'. We'll rest assured this place is a treasure and it is near the sea and the mountains and just about anything else you might want from a Greek island holiday. But what sets it apart are the people. Nat, Simona and Nella work so hard to settle you in and keep you happy. The little details, remembering your name, what you like to drink or eat, even what time you usually get up and if you might have over slept for breakfast (I actually heard them ring the room to check if the couple were ok and still wanting their breakfast!) Thank you all for a lovely time, yamas!

Yes it did - I paid directly in euros so knew how much it was going to be- obviously the exchange rate fluctuated .

Hi can i ask if its a late flight home is it possible to keep room until 6pm?
Answer from Mr H
Sep 2016 |
As others have said it is possible if the room is not required to keep it longer for what I feel is a reasonable price. Failing that there is an area that you can keep your luggage in which also has changing rooms. Costas is very obliging at the end of the day.
