Tour organised 2 night stay. Great location as close to main square. Room was comfortable with sufficient space. Staff reasonably helpful with the couple of queries we had. Suggest you take a short walk to the local market to see everyday life.

Really nice hotel around the corner from the main square. The hotel is close to the restaurants, shops, and galleries. Room are spacious, very clean. Breakfast consists of juice, fresh cut fruit, eggs and bread. You have a choice of tea or coffee. The hotel has some lovely decor and an inner garden. Check out the honeymoon suite, the bed could sleep the entire wedding party. Would recommend staying here.

We stayed here 2 nights. The hotel has pleasant staff and the breakfast was very good. The room was simple but had all we wanted and a good shower. The hotel is situated not far from the main square so is in a good spot.

The hotel is in a good location only one minute walk to the main square. The room was very nice with hot water. Good breakfast was included. The hotel is quite quiet. The town is interesting and very pedestrian friendly as vehicles must park on the edge of town.

We loved this hotel! One block from Plaza Mayor but quiet. Location is perfect. We paid $120,000 COP ($67 USD) per night for 2 people in their basic room, and it's $80,000 for a single person. In Colombia you seem to pay per person, not per room. It included a nice breakfast and had unlimited hot water for showers.

After a poor experience at incredibly expensive Duruelo up the street we checked into Hotel Sol. The owners/staff were friendly, warm and helpful. The place is small and modest from the street but opens up to 30 beautiful rooms inside. It is made up of 3 separate buildings with several courtyards, but it's super quiet with most rooms far away from the street. Incredibly beautiful hotel.

Our room was smallish, but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had exterior windows that opened up to a courtyard for air and light.

The only negative is that they have vinyl mattress covers that are noisy and make you sweat. I'm still giving it 5 stars for location, friendly staff, quiet rooms and value, just be sure to pull the vinyl cover off before you go to sleep.
