Chose this hotel as a recommendation from a friend and was brilliant! Went to Kavos with my sister in Sept 2020 and had a fantastic experience at this hotel. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, we were given fresh towels everyday (just ask the staff), rooms cleaned every other day, air con is €30 for 4 nights (reasonable and much needed as mosquitos are out in evenings so you don't want the door open!) Got a safety deposit box in room
with a key which is great, and was quiet even though it was on the strip of bars/restaurants, as it's at the top so you can't hear music late at night etc.
Only thing was, there's a chicken farm next door that make noise at 6am/7am which wakes you up! But if you can go back to sleep, it's fine.
Pool is lovely and big, clean and tidy, lots of sunbeds and umbrellas.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants to be close to the strip but wants a quiet and friendly hotel!

The hotel is basic, but clean and well kept. The Manager, Alex, is friendly and welcoming and really helpful, he even walked us to the nearby bus stop when we asked for directions.

We went in 2020, so others' experiences may differ, but the hotel was quiet enough at night, there is a 'party pool' hotel down the beach, but it isn't too loud, in fact if you sit on the beach you can't really hear it. The location is ideal if your're oldies, as it is far enough away from the strip to have a relaxing break, but close enough to have a walk down to experience the nightlife.

There are free sunbeds around the pool, but Alex told us we were free to take them on the beach, and offered us an umbrella/parasol as well.

If we go to Kavos again, I would definitely stay here.

So an overview of my stay.

This place matched/exceeded expectations by far and this is down to the amazing hosts that made us feel welcome.

As you know this hotel is budget-friendly therefore you shouldn't expect 5 stars rooms for the amount you pay, a general room and services. This is perfect as most of the time you will be out exploring Kavos/swimming pool side.

The place is run by an amazing family, especially the 'Dad' he is so lovely and easy to love. He fixed all our issues and is always with a smile. This place is run by real people that love their job.

The daughter of the Owner went out her way to organise a taxi for us to catch early in the morning so that we catch the early cruise. She also had time to talk to us about the area, Greece, Kavos, fun things to do, what to eat and what to look out for.

The hosts respects that people party here however they appreciate those they are able to be aware of those around them too.

The best thing also about this place location, it is by the sea side with an amazing sunrise/sunset view. Please see image attached.

I highly recommend you book this place and really talk to the hosts as they are here to listen. Mutual respect is key.

The Lemon Grove in my opinion was a great stay, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here because off the friendly staff that work here, I stayed in room 66 which had 2 single beds, safety box, toilet, shower, hot plate, fridge, air conditioner ( which was well needed ) and a balcony with an amazing sea side view.

The lemon grove is more or less on the strip, but is far enough away to get a peaceful nights rest, with no noise disturbance at all.

There is plenty of activities around this hotel including water sports, pool tables, swimming pool and places to get food such as Big Macs with there amazing offers! ( €2.50 Breakfast / €7 Starter, Main Course inc. Steak & Drinks )

Even though I heard a lot of bad reviews on Kavos and about the this hotel, I was quite frankly expecting the worst but I was quickly proven wrong. If your planning to staying in Kavos I would highly recommend the Lemon Grove ! :)

The hotel is conveniently situated both directly on the beach and less than a five minute walk from the strip of Kavos. The pool area and hotel rooms were cleaned thoroughly. The hotel doesn't have a bar or a restaurant but worked out a lot cheaper as could buy cheap drink and food and consume them in the public areas. Because of this, the pool and hotel area was quite quiet during the day and the pool was often empty. We found this a positive as there was no need to get up early to reserve sunbeds or be surrounded by loud music while hungover.
The bathrooms aren't the prettiest, they were essentially wet rooms. But any problems that could be fixed the hotel would do so that day with no complaints!
Alex was lovely, couldn't do enough for you and loved a chat while around the pool. If you're nice to him he will go out of his way to make sure you have the best holiday.
Overall, yes the hotel was cheap and don't expect any luxuries but the location was perfect and had everything you need to enjoy a lads holiday.
