Staying a couple days on business. Clean enough. Located on busy intersection with super-thin walls.
Check in friendly though no English.
One plus - great restaurant right next to my room. Negative...they take a lot of parking.
No desk to do paperwork. Will not stay here again.
Motel Le Victo maintains very clean rooms with relatively newer decor. The bed was hard but otherwise the room was great for the cost. It was a bit awkward on arrival since there was no one there but the sign indicated how to reach the staff (in the attached restaurant) so it all worked out.
Definitely a good spot if you need to stop in this area of Quebec.
We usually stay in budget motels but this is a very low budget motel. We had a tiny, shabby old room with virtually no amenities, but it appeared clean and we were traveling by bicycle, so we stayed. The woman in reception didn't speak English and we don't speak French, but she was friendly and we managed the transaction. The attached restaurant had average food and slow but friendly service.
First, if you are travelling as I was from Ontario, there will be a language barrier as nobody here speaks a word of english. Bring a translator app on your phone. Other than that they seem friendly and helpful enough once they know what you want. The room was very basic, vinyl plank flooring, basic cable, a bed, and a door which connects to another room which I "think" was locked. There was also a leak of some sort from behind the toilet which was causing a bit of smell. Overall, if you want quick, basic, cheap and a place where you can keep an eye on your bike from your room, this place will work. IF you are looking for the Taj Mahal, you best move on.
