We visited here twice, once for lunch passing through and then came back to stay overnight. The room was wonderful, cool in the hot afternoon with a balcony overlooking the square. It is next to a road but it's a quiet place at night so we slept well. The bed was very comfortable, the room and en-suite were large enough and spotless.
Lunch and evening meals are really good. Well prepared, good quality, straight forward food. We had the moules and burgers between us on the two visits. The Bretagne Burger is especially good.

Caroline and Andrew are very friendly and welcoming and run a good business.

arrived at Miday straight off the Boat from Jersey toSt Malo a short 40 minute drive Away parking on a sunday can be hard but once parked i entered to a busy resturant where i had a drink and then went to my room it was ensuite with a balcony over looking the village center, had a good lunch and a short 5 minute walk to the canal , the food is fantastic big portions so be warned, especially the Moules et frite and the deserts to die for if you have room them, Andrew and Caroline make excellent host,s nothing is to much for them they speak both french and english, this is a good little rest stop but beware it is on a well used road and the church bells go off at 7am week day mornings, but after two days i did not hear the bells, i love this little home from home

Evran is a beautiful village by a lovely canal complete with a boat with a caravan on! The locals are very friendly and welcoming. The menu is very good especially the moules a la creme and the steak was fantastic. Be warned the portions are huge! The service was very good and Caroline and Andrew are the perfect hosts with a good trade in visitors from Jersey. The room was big, very clean and comfortable and the full english breakfast finished off the stay.

We were overwhelmed with how welcoming Caroline and Andrew were. We arrived quite late coming on an evening sailing from Jersey and they kept the restaurant open for us and cooked for us. Andrews beer battered fish and chips which we understand is loved by the locals was excellent. We are moving to Brittany and they were a mine of information, nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was clean and lovely and the bed extremely comfortable. The morning came and we walked around the typically French village and in the sunshine along part of the canal which is nearby and beautiful. We weren't expecting our one night stopover to feel like a holiday but it really made us feel that way.
