We have just returned as a couple travelling on their first holiday together. Before we arrived we were nervous after seeing other reviews however we're soon put to rest.

When we arrived we were checked in quickly (after paying Greek room tax) and told to leave our baggage and go for food as the kitchen was closing in an hour. After this we checked into a clean, spacious room that included a desk, fridge, safe and walk in shower. This was kept very clean all week and maids left little touches such as placing the towels into different shapes. Food did become a bit samey and some variety throughout the week would have been nice, however there was enough each night that we enjoyed to be satisfied. We did also try the Family taverna down the hill, they were also very friendly and gave us a free traditional dessert at the end of our meal! Local drinks are served at the hotel and the bartenders are happy to make something "off menu" with one eagerly showing me his inventions.
The young waiter was a credit to the hotel and kept the whole dining room clean.

The pool areas were fine, but I would say it was aimed at couples or people without children. There were children there however I think a family hotel may have been more fun for them. Night time entertainment was a keyboard player, this wasn't our particular favourite. A few nights we tried Paradise bar and the mini golf just short walks away from the hotel. I will warn visitors that the hotel is on a slope which may be difficult for some guests.

Our room was on the 4th floor with fantastic views of the island from our balcony!

Travelled with my husband in July to this recently opened hotel. First impression: nice hotel, nice rooms, great bed, friendly staff. Quiet location, upon a hill, but close to the main street with bars and restaurant. We had a room on the 4th flour, the view was nice.
But then.... the food was really awfull. Almost every day the same, tasteless, fat food. I even got sick for almost 4 days, this really ruined my vacation. I heard some other people also got sick (stomach flu). When I told the reception that I had stomach flu and thought it was because of the food because i heard that other people were also sick, they told me; ' maybe you're pregnant' hahahah wow yeah. Wel it's 3 months later now and I'm still not pregnant. So I'm pretty sure it really was because of the food.

Second; there was hardly any entertainment, as described on the TUI website. One night was a Greek Night, with some dancers and music. It was okay but in 30 minutes they were finished and gone. The evenings were very boring in the hotel, so make sure you bring your one games or go to the bar street. (Maybe it has changed in the meanwhile, this was aprox 3 weeks after the opening.)

We went with the shuttle bus to the other hotel; Tsilivi Beach hotel. The pool was better and bigger and the food was a bit better. And it was also very close to the beach (1 stairs to the beach). So this was a better experience.

I would recommend to hire a car and drive around the island. The island is very pretty. Buy some olive oil at Elies Olive Press, a small factory in the north of the island. People are so nice over there. We went twice and they even recognized us.
And we went to a restaurant ' Ex Animo' (also in the North, on our way back to Tsilivi from the Blue Caves). Delicious, simple and well priced food, runned by a family, in a beautiful olive garden.

In short:
- definitely not a 4 stars hotel, 3 stars for sure.
- definitely an overpriced hotel, thank god we payed a very low price with our super last minute booking, otherwise i would be very very very sad.
- i think there a beter hotels in this price category, that's why i wouldn't recommend this hotel.
-hire a car

We booked this holiday as a break for a week to get some last minute sun in an all inclusive hotel. We got exactly that. Very clean and airy room. Clean facilities. Good food every night and morning (some real sausages wouldn’t go amiss though) can’t complain at all about our stay here as it was all as stated when we booked. We don’t tend to visit the same destination twice but if we did we would definitely consider this hotel again.

Just returned from a week all inclusive at the Tesoro hotel tsvilli, first off on a positive note Zante was amazing and well worth the visit however the hotel was a complete an utter let down we booked all inclusive thinking we would have full use of facilities that tui had described,
on arrival we were just told where to go in the lifts on entering the room we noticed the bed was two singles pushed together it wasn’t even an attempt at being a double as beds were made up individually why advertise a double when it’s a twin room spoke to a lady in reception about the beds only to be told they were all like that in every room which there not as have seen other pictures of the rooms, the wardrobe had fixed in coat hangers 5 to be precise so me and my partner never fully unpacked but left things in suitcase and hung what needed to be there was no drawer space either just 3 small ones in the bedside table.
the small table in room had cracked glass on the top which you wouldn’t expect from a new hotel.on arrival your given two small bottles of water which are not replaced you have to purchase if you require more from reception

On a few occasions we couldn’t get hot water for a shower especially between 17:00 and 19:00 in the evening it would be freezing cold so you had to plan a shower around these times and when you did get hot water the steam would set of the smoke alarm placed right next to bathroom door

The food was same everyday no attempt at rotation whatsoever if you love Greek stew then it’s perfect after day two we didn’t even bother with lunch or evening meals as neither could stomach the same thing again and again as the food was to repetitive and didn’t offer a wide enough choice of Greek food, desserts didn’t change much either all week
no fresh milk just long life milk for cereal which isn’t the greatest when It would be sat in the sun next to the coffee machine that never seem to give hot water, tea and coffee was served from paper cups everyday and poolside snacks were hamburger and hotdogs everyday just constantly the same thing
On one evening there was a barbecue put on but not enough seats for everyone we got sat in the dark at the edge of the pool to eat it wasn’t a pleasant experience to try and eat food in the dark as it wasn’t lit up to see what you were eating they crammed everyone in rather than do two sittings we ended up eating out every night at various restaurants so not so all inclusive when you can’t stomach the food in the hotel I recommend zorbas for some amazing traditional Greek food.

unsure if it was due to nearing the end of season but there was no entertainment at the hotel the week we were there it was advertised that there would be Greek night and asian night at the hotel but nothing and no a la carte meals.we ended up going to paradise bar 2 minute walk away so we could at least enjoy some music in the evening

And at the end of the day putting out your swimwear and towels to dry was a pointless exercise as they would be wetter than when left to dry as water from the roof To do with the air conditioning would soak everything drying on the balcony

i will say the staff were incredibly hard working and really pleasant they do work long hours and the hotel was kept very clean the hotel is in a good location with a 2 minute walk to the start of the shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the beach and the locals are so friendly and welcoming would definitely visit Zante again just a different hotel.

I feel as though I booked an all inclusive but ended up with bed and breakfast

Rooms and bathrooms are large and airy, with a safe, fridge and kettle in room. Two bottles of water in fridge on arrival which is a nice touch. Wi-fi is good in room. I was on second floor in a block of three which overlooked the pool. Unfortunately it was at the bottom of a very small slope and had very heavy thunderstorms on my last four days and the rainwater ran down this little slope and under the door into my room, lot of mopping up was done by staff. On another slope the rainwater also ended up in the lift. I think this was probably the first really heavy storms the hotel had had since it opened as there were also a couple of leaks in the restaurant. There is no lounge so you if you are actually in the hotel when it rains you are stuck in your room. I had also had a problem with hot water, only had one hot shower in 11 nights, the rest of the time it was lukewarm at best. Other guests also commented on this, whilst others had no complaints, so it may be pot luck on your allocated room
The staff are all excellent, always smiling and very helpful. Niki in the restaurant deserves a special mention, she was so hard-working, clearing and re-setting the tables. Amarildo (or something similar) was great behind the bar. Excellent measures but no top of the shelf drinks.
Animation tried hard with evening entertainment which started with bingo every night. Cannot comment on afterwards as always went out.
Saturday night is Greek night with an outside bbq of sorts. If you don’t like Gyros you’ll go hungry.
The hill outside the hotel isn’t too bad. It’s only about 50 yards uphill from the Main Street with the last 20 yards being steep.
This hotel has a lot of potential and I would think a lot has been learnt in their first season and things will improve next year
