The farmhouse is high in the mountains overlooking miles upon miles of countryside and stretching to the sea. A modest farmhouse with basic accommodation. Room was clean, warm with views over the mountains. Amazing hospitality with endless amounts of farm cooked food, served by the farmer and his wife. Shared our experience with 20 cross country bikers on a 3 day tour. Amazing experience in this far reached hill top farm.

I went there with my wife and a friend after a wedding in Cagliari; we arrived on 29 of April and stayed for 3 nights. The location is remote but stunning and wild. We rented a Fiat Panda that is the right car to go (off-road vehicles not needed but a small car with some clearance is probably a good choice). They are off the electric grid and use a combination of Solar panels and generators. They have goats that milk regularly, so it is a true farm. the meals are with all the guests together and the cuisine is super. On one night we enjoyed the "porceddu", a small pig roasted in the fireplace in the dining room. You enjoy also handmade pasta ("malloreddus", a traditional Sardinian pasta) and other traditional recipes made on premises with the farm's ingredients. The hosts (Pietro, his wife and their daughter) are extremely friendly and keen to share farming experience. The customers are international: we were the only Italians during our stay. Wild (if not desert) beaches are at 20-30 minutes drive, but could be reached by hiking in the wild so bring appropriate shoes if you want to go that way. A unique experience in a wonderful place. Only today I had the opportunity to review the pictures of this trip.

We have been in this "agriturismo" for three days. The location offers wonderful landscapes on the green mountains of the coast, proximity to impressive beaches of Piscinas, Portu Maga and Pistis and also mines of Montevecchio, which is really worth to visit. The owners Pietro and Ginetta are extremely nice, smart and open to welcome very different people (diversity and richness of hosts is an asset!!!) . Ginetta is a great cook, we have eaten in tons of places in Sardinia, but we have never found such a delicious couisine! Everything is produced by the owners (wine, oil, cheese, meat etc...), all specialities are handmade so you can really taste traditional Sardinian food. Do not expect a "five-star" treatment in terms of room and hotel-like services, but if you want to experiment a real traditional Sardinian experience in a wonderful environment (sunsets are great!!!) this is the best choice.
