We stayed here a few years ago and loved it, John was a fabulous host, and the breakfasts were amazing! However, we rang a couple of weeks ago to book for this summer and he's now no longer doing B&B. We're going to try the Old Post Office instead.

Chose this so our group of two couples could be the sole guests for the two days . Everything about the place was clean and the service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for John who is informative , enthusiastic and above all friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the Sunday morning sun on the decking in the company of...

Stayed for one night while visiting for a friend's wedding. Lynne and John could not be better hosts and the accommodation is very clean and comfortable. The location is ideal - seconds from the main square with pubs (make sure you visit the Black Bull - no frills but friendly and the best and cheapest pint in town!) and cafes...

The host John is very friendly and informative and provided an excellent service. The B&B has only 2 letting bedrooms. We stayed in the rear room which was cosy and quiet with a very comfortable bed and good clean en-suite. There is a well appointed guest lounge. Breakfast, taken at the one big table with the other 2 guests, was...

An excellent breakfast with veggie sausages mmmmm and even skimmed...

Complimentary chilled soft drinks in the lounge. Lots of thought has gone in to this lovely little Band B. John is an excellent host and we will be back again next year...

We stayed just one night while walking the St Oswald's Way in miserable weather and John and Lynne who run No. 28 really did everything possible to make our brief stay as comfortable as possible - and that included getting the boots and socks dry! Great room, great breakfast, good location near places to eat, see etc, and sensibly priced....

This is a great B and B on Castle Street in Warkworth and very close to all the major attractions and beaches in Northumberland. We had a lovely room and a great power shower. We were touring on a tandem and stayed for one night . John is very accommodating of runners and cyclists and was able to provide cycle...

A warm welcome, a spacious, tastefully decorated/furnished room, comfy bed - ,just when I thought things couldn't get better we were introduced to Ben the labradoodle. What a gorgeous big softy he is, I defy anyone not to fall in love with him! Breakfast was lovely and as it was so warm I finished my coffee out on the decking accompanied...

We had a very warm welcome on arrival on visiting number 28. We booked because of the previous good reviews and were not disappointed. The rooms were immaculate and although not a really big room it was very well equipt with lovely period furniture and a very comfortable bed. In fact, the best bed I have ever slept in and...
