Would not recommend. We stayed here earlier this year and we were generally underwhelmed. The b&b was quite expensive but they had such good reviews that we thought we'd treat ourselves for our anniversary. It is safe to say we both felt disappointed. The room was ok, the walls were thin which is understandable in such an old house but...

We stayed here for two nights and were absolutely delighted. Our bedroom and bed were both very large and our bathroom was enormous. Both were quirkily and attractively decorated and furnished. The early evening glass of wine and cheese was a lovely touch. Breakfast was terrific. Freshly cooked food well presented and tasting delicious. Our hostess was very friendly and...

Our stay was short but very sweet. Really easy to find, the Roxbro is a fine example of a small hotel. Comfortable, with good and tasty breakfast choices, it certainly hit the spot for us. Our tastes run to quiet hotels offering a top notch night's sleep, and in this respect the Roxbro would be heard to beat. Considering all...

We stayed at Roxbro House on a Sunday night, we arrived early but were able to leave the car and go and have a picnic and walk before we checked in at 4. The man who met us (I didn't get his name) was really helpful with suggestions for where we could go for dinner and letting us know that...

stayed in Geoffrey's Room, not ensuite but had private bathroom across the landing,my fault for not checking details of rooms as I would have preferred ensuite, but seeing we had a Living Social deal there wasn't a lot of choice left. Lovely breakfast all freshly cooked and staff were very helpful and friendly. A shame Warkworth Castle was closed during our...

Wonderful break, a gift and a lovely surprise. Excellent bed and breakfast, in terms of quality provision and welcoming hosts. We found it to be very relaxing and the whole house demonstrated attention to detail. Would really recommend a visit. Had a fabulous time and enjoyed the room and the breakfasts very much. A hidden gem, thank you.. 😊

We spent two nights in the Owners Suite at Roxbro House last week. The whole experience was fantastic, the room was lovely with lots of little extras, chocolates, fresh milk in the fridge, biscuits, bathrobes, slippers etc. We booked a session in the hot tub on our second night which was amazing, particularly after a very cold day, and had...

We often visit Warkworth to take our dog to the beach. This time we decided to stay in the village for 2 nights. On arriving you are made to feel welcome straight away. We was given a tour of downstairs and they explained how the honesty bar worked. Also between 5 and 6pm complimentary cheese and wine is available. There...

Had a great time at Roxbro House again this time we had the owners suite and it was great, three rooms and the whole of the top floor to yourselves. Great breakfasts as usual with plenty of choice. The room picnics were great as usual. The service was first class as you would expect. Certainly looking forward to our next...
