We stayed in the Radisson blu hotel for a week at the beginning of April. Our family room had plenty of space for the 4 of us, with one double bedroom and two sofa beds in the spacious living area. It also had plenty of storage, including a very useful drying cupboard for wet ski clothes to dry in overnight....

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 7 February 2017

The hotel was lovely, with good sized rooms, a very well planned out ski locker room, with each locker being opened by the room card, very helpful staff, a very pleasant swimming pool, with jacuzzi and sauna. The buffet breakfasts were great with a wide selection of food, and you could eat enough to keep you going all day. The...

Had a good week staying at the Radisson Blu in Trysil. Skiing was good - we are not expert skiiers! but good selection of runs, friendly and patient ski instructors. Would recommend and we would go back to the resort/hotel.

Our group consisted of 4 adults and 4 children (aged 5 to 6). We stayed in a 4 bed apartment on the top floor on a half board basis. Apartment was absolutely incredible (amazing high ceilings, floor to ceiling glass offering views of the slopes, German kitchen with top of the range appliances, big bedrooms and cleverly designed bunk rooms...

We stayed in a 3 bedroom prestige apartment in this hotel and it was simply amazing. Huge apartment with 3 good sized bedrooms, overlooking the ski slope. No, not overlooking, more like hanging over the ski slope!!!! Giant living room, cosy fireplace, comfortable seats/beds. A quick few negatives. There was no phone in our room so we could not order...

A superbly located hotel for the ski slopes - and a great ski locker room with ski in-ski out convenience. The hotel is extremely well run with efficient and professional staff. Food is generally very good quality. Rooms are superb - clean, well appointed and superbly comfortable beds. My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here for 8 days. Not the cheapest...

It's challenging to find somewhere decent for late march skiing. Trysil is a gem. Just over 2 hours north of Oslo it has great skiing in March. By Alps standard it's not a big resort but perfectly suited to families and beginners. The accommodation choices were limited and Radisson Blu has a bit of monopoly but they do it very...

Booked this hotel primarily due to the location. Its a large hotel with all usual facilities. We booked B&B and the breakfast had a good choice. Couldn't justify paying another £35 p/p for an evening meal but then again, Norway is a ridiculously expensive place! Another issue for me is that its easy to ski (back) into the locker room...

We just needed a nice hotel for three nights close to the ski lifts, with a very good spa (which we had used during a trip two years ago) and of course good restaurants. We got all that as well as a wonderful breakfast which had everything you could wish for.

The Prestige Apartments at the Radisson Blue Resort have everything you need. A great little kitchen with under worktop fridge (no freezer compartment though :-(), 2-ring hob and small, multi-function oven and grill. There's not a lot of counter space so preparing anything too complex might be a challenge but for soup or cheese toasties it really is spot on!...
