I stayed over night at Armathwaite on 24th & 25th February to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday. We enjoyed a treatment in the Spa as well as all Spa facilities. The room and food was fantastic. Our stay included dinner, bed and breakfast. The food was delicious and we had an excellent choice of three courses from the Brasserie menu....

My first impression of the Hotel was that it was lovely. It has a an old Hall feel with a Log fire in the reception area and the bedroom was old world but modern and pleasant. That is where the attraction of this old Hall Hotel and the reality of the service that we received part company. The wedding celebrations...

Having visited this hotel previously on a special offer, we had a lovely quiet modern room and ate in the brasserie which we found to be a good standard. This is why I decided to buy a 'One night Spa Break' gift voucher for my husband for Christmas. This included a three course meal in the Lake View Restaurant. On...

The main (old part) of the hotel is a grand, beautiful looking building. Once inside the hotel has a number of large rooms set aside for pre dinner drinks, afternoon tea, dinner/lunch/breakfast, together with a cosy bar area. The fireplaces are huge and on a cold February day were a joy to sit in front of, enjoying a drink. The...

This place is outstanding as far as the architecture goes. Huge fireplaces and a perfect venue for a conference or wedding if money is no object. The grounds are beautiful and views of the Lake from the dining room are breathtaking. I knew of this place from my wife's previous visit for a cream tea with two octogenarians and a...

I had a lovely two night stay at Armathwaite hall hotel with my partner. We are local, about 25miles away, so it was a bit of a ‘staycation’ for us but we felt a million miles away from home. We got an excellent deal for February and so we decide to go. My partner has always wanted to stay but...

We have just returned from a weekend at the hotel having arrived late on Friday night. We received a warm welcome from the staff and were shown to our room. No doubt there are a variety of rooms at the hotel, but ours was a room that seemed to have been lost in time - this is fine if you...

Dear CheltenhamKLM Thank you for your valued review of our hotel. I was encouraged to read that on the whole, you enjoyed your experience. Unfortunately I am unable to track your reservation without knowing your name.
