Relaxing mini-break with a 6 month old puppy. We brought our children too, aged 11 and 13, who shared a twin. It's a great place for a quiet and calm mini-break. Hot water shower outside with Belfast sink is excellent for muddy dogs.

For people under the age of 35 with coloured hair, tatoos, piercings and not wearing jumpers and walking boots, id strongly advise you to go somewere else. Me and my boyfriend went and from entering the hotel were made to feel like a burden and not welcome. We ordered a drink at the bar and half way through getting served...

We arrived at the hotel at 12.30pm and although check in is 3pm we thought after our long drive we would be able to pop in and have a drink before heading to Keswick (as most hotels do allow this) only to be greeted by a lady at the door who would not let us in and was quite abrupt...

This is the second time my dad and me have stayed at Ravenstone Manor. The food is excellent, the rooms lovely with a great shower and the hosts are very friendly. The Manor is dog friendly, we don't have a dog but friends who have stayed with dogs also had a great time. An ideal base for cycling or, as...

We spent one night here after deciding to take a spontaneous mini-break. Couldn't fault the warm welcome from the hard-working owners who appear to run the place on their own. There is a lot of communal space - the bar - the lounge which is delightful and a games room with a full size snooker table. The food was very...

What an absolute gem of a hotel very comfortable, friendly owners and possibly the most dog friendly hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. A lovely quiet location with fantastic views but within a short distance of either Keswick or Bassenthwaite village ( check out The Sun Inn). The breakfasts were very nice and filled you up...
