Stayed in the lovely self catering annex called Trusmador. Really nicely decorated and brilliantly planned. Felt really private but we could dip into what we wanted at the Hotel. Annex was great for dogs but they were even happier going to dinner with us. This really is a dog friendly paradise - they are more welcome than their owners. Towels, warm water tub outside for washing them off and no grumpy guests getting upset the our four legged friends. Great walks from the Hotel too Food was fine albeit not ambitious. Staff were great and special shout for Anthony and Nicky would went that extra to make our stay great. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic hotel with even better staff, everyone was extremely helpful & not in a put on way. We’ve stayed in a few “dog friendly “ hotels in the area , basically you can take your dog from the door to your room, that’s not the case here, your dog can go with you to the restaurant for an evening meal or for breakfast. We will definitely be back & stay a wee bit longer. The only down side was breakfast, it was a bit on the stingy side.

Wow! Just WOW! Independently owned , beautiful hotel, very doggy friendly, including doggy Belfast sink to wash down in with warm water, freshly laundered doggy towels to dry down , everywhere doggies made so welcome! Walks on the doorstep include Dodds wood 2 minutes away. Our room , room 3 amazing! Loved it! 2 large windows, bright airy , with views of the lake. Beautiful decor , Dyson fan, spotlessly clean and stylish without being pretentious. Evening meal, my husband had shin beef, delicious I had chicken Kiev with wild garlic again fabulous, staff couldn’t be friendlier. We followed it with an evening in the snug with a real fire and getting to know some lovely people. Will definitely be back! Classy stylish and dog friendly! Perfect 👍🏻

I stayed here by myself with my dog and it's honestly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. My room had a stunning view, was very clean and cosy, HEATED BATHROOM TILES OMG! Loved the dog wash and the towels for them at the door, might be worth having them as extras to put down at your rooms door as I was really worried about getting the lovely rooms carpet dirty with my shoes The whole hotel was dog friendly and the staff were so lovely and welcoming all the time- beautiful little common room with a roaring fire to relax and read in and loads of space for people to space out The building itself is so cute and cosy with an awesome little garden area with a jaw dropping view The only thing that let it down was the food- £17 for a very dry and tasteless chicken kiev main. Soup was nice but a bit overpriced, I ate mostly elsewhere which was a huge shame as I was prepared to eat there for every meal and stay in the hotel, but honestly that's the only thing that I disliked, I will definitely be back

Woohoo what an amazing hotel, we just spent 3 nights with The Top Team of Staff that absolutely make your stay the best it can be, they are so dog friendly and it was absolutely superb in every way. How refreshing that every team member wanted to help, was happy and chatted about the hotel and the local area, they could not do enough to make you feel welcome. Businesses where the owner is involved and really care reflects in the staff and I just know from booking with the owner that his team are all valued they were all An Absolute Delight. The food was excellent, the breakfasts delicious and the wonderful sight of different breeds of dogs "living the dream" was brilliant. Our room was great, lucky number 19 with superb views. The beautiful Dodd Wood is right by and it's a great place to explore the area from. If you do anything with your hard earned cash spend it here they really are Magnificent Finally thanks for being so kind to our Lurcher who is 12 and a half, he relaxed, enjoyed the sausages and we all can't wait to visit again. To the Fabulous waitress Charley too !! You were brilliant + hope the exam went well!! Keep up the fantastic work everyone and Anthony and Alex make sure you give everyone a Big Hug from Me! See you next time You must be our Lucky Stars as The Villa even won when we were there!!! Louise Steve and Luca !
