We travelled for a family wedding in September and had use of the whole chateau. It was such a gorgeous setting for the whole weekend. Some of our family stayed in the older parts of the chateau- the rooms here are beautiful and look out over the large grounds and fountains (in my photo it's the room with the window...

We had a long drive and arrived at the beautiful Chateau set in lovely surroundings and immediately felt relaxed. Beautifully furnished, lovely bedroom. Went for walk in the grounds. For dinner we ate in the orangery over looking the gardens. We started with foie gras, followed by steak and souffle of black currants all beautifully presented and tasted very good....

Perfect location on the way from Paris to Bordeaux. Lovely large room furnished with real antics. The bed was very comfortable. We admired the staircase wood work and craftsmanship. The rooms wall decor, not really what I like. The bath room was large and updated. We had a very peaceful and restful night. However the food and service for dinner and...

As a professional wedding celebrant I had the pleasure to celebrate a ceremony in this stunning venue. As a wedding vendor, I received a very warm welcome from the entire team and appreciated how well the staff treated the bridal couple and their guests. I get to visit many wedding venues and was particularly impressed with the high quality service...

Staying at Mirambeau was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Having stayed at many Relais and Chateaux hotels over the years we had high expectations and Mirambeau exceeded these in many respects. Our luxurious suite was richly furnished in Crimson and gold with high ceilings and a magnificent view to the back garden. We spent time at...

We had the pleasure of a suite in this chateau for several days and were very happy. The staff were excellent, food great and the suite was beautiful. The chateau had apparently been recently improved with the addition of new rooms. We were in the original part of the building so, given the age, it had a couple of issues....

Chateau de Mirambeau near Bordeaux has a history extending back to an 11th Century medieval fortress, and has been visited by kings of England and France. It sits in extensive grounds with fine views from the terrace. Recent renovations have added 18 new luxury bedrooms and a well-appointed spa with indoor and outdoor pools. Upon arrival, our luggage was whisked...

We've staid 4 nights in this beautiful Chateau. Nice room (even if small considering the fact that it was a superior... if you can, avoid the rooms in the Orangerie and ask for a room in the castle). Breakfast in the beautiful dining room with a view on the garden was perfect. Nice swimming pool .

In the top 3 of places I have stayed. Beautiful chateau recently refurbished. We turned up in our old camper van with two childrenand had no evidence of our booking (booked while refurb was going on), I had my email and they sorted it out. We sat down while they made up the rooms. Then we enjoyed the pool which...

Overall the chateau is very good but could only rate it average because of poor attention by the reception staff in room allocation - I booked a room with a bath and we were allocated a room in the basement of the adjoining wing to the hotel with a shower only and no explanation or apology. The room was dark...
