A friend and I stayed at Meads for a wedding. Helen and Rick are lovely hosts and go above and beyond to make sure that you have a great stay. Our room was spotless and the breakfast (full english) was fab. Highly recommended!

There are no local hotels in Oxted so we decided to bite the bullet and book into Meads. We are delighted we did because we could not have been any more comfortable in a 5 star hotel. Hosts Helen and Rick could not be more hospitable or friendly. Our immaculate room was spacious and comfortable. The weather was chilly throughout... More

We had two day visit at the home of Rick and Helen and had a wonderful time. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped and the bathroom was equally spacious and had a shower that was powerful but easy ( unlike too many) to operate. Breakfast was delicious whether it was a full English or fresh fruit and yoghurt.... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in September while attending a friend's wedding. Helen and Rick are delightful hosts and the house and garden are lovely . My room with en suite bathroom was very comfortable, overlooking the garden. The breakfast was excellent too. I would highly recommend The Meads if you want somewhere to stay in this area. I... We stayed here when moving house. Whilst it was a stressful time, being at the Meads made it so much more manageable and pleasant. Helen and Rick were exceptionally accomodating. Their house and grounds are lovely. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away for a week or weekend.

We were walkingf the North Downs Way and The Mead is a pleasant walk down from the ridge. We arrived muddy but were warmly welcomed and shown to our room with no delay so we could have a hot bath and rest our feet. Very considerate. Beds were really comfortable and the house is lovely - a period piece with... More

We stayed at this lovely home last weekend. Helen and Rick made us so welcome, we even eyed up the apple pie that was in the kitchen, on its way to a family lunch in Hampshire ! The room we stayed is was really comfortable, lovely en suite, and the beds provided and amazing nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the 'Mead Bed and Breakfast' for our anniversary, the location is perfect if you want to escape the bustling city for a day! Our double room was very clean, spacious and the decor was gorgeous. The bathroom was generous in size, nice to see a well-stocked toiletries cupboard if needed! The breakfast was great;... More
