Amazing hotel. Very relaxing experience in a beautiful environment. Staff are extremely professional and helpful. We stayed in one of the double rooms near the restaurant, room was enormous and spotless. Restaurant is exceptional. Hotel is within easy drive of beaches and Matero etc. Cannot praise this hotel enough, our stay was wonderful. Thanks Borgo Valle Rita.

We have stayed here many times. This visit was not good. First…our room had been double-booked, so we were moved into another place and had to move again the second day to the room we had booked 3 months earlier. However, the reception did accommodate us with a very nice upgraded room for their mistake on the first night…but only after a LOT of unnecessary discussion and complaining from us. Today, no one is open for breakfast (official hours 8-10:30a.m…no one here and no one available to take calls at reception…not good. What if there was a big emergency here?!)

Accommodation wasn’t the best however the rest such as the pool and farm and resturant , games and service was spectacular . There is a very kind dog called Rita and is very well educated and happy. I enjoyed playing tennis and Ping pong and meeting new people

We stayed in one of the villas out in the orange groves a short walk from the main estate and pool. Very secluded and spacious and so excellent for a family, clean and with small kitchen for simple self catering. The estate has quite an upmarket feel to it, but the villas are value for money. We ate in the restaurant one time which was more than decent. For the money though, I think you can eat just as well or better elsewhere. The pool is amazing, fine blue with great views around and well appointed pool area, a very big plus. Only comment I have is that there is some kind of generator or pump behind the villa that makes (too much) noise at night. Given the enormous grounds there should be ample place to hide such nasty machinery. The silence and darkness without the noise is very soothing.

We adored our stay at the Borgo Valle Rita. We had a lovely villa amongst the orange groves, with comfortable beds and room for my 3 year old and 1 year old. We didn’t cook, but could have with the resources in our kitchen. The food for breakfast and for dinner were superb. The chef is astounding. For families with young kids it was a bit late to eat but we managed happily. We adored the bike rides, horse rides, walks seeing the animals. Local rides to the beach or to beautiful towns. We had a great and relaxing trip and we can thank all of the staff for helping us to feel so welcome.

We stopped by for lunch on Sunday and were completely blown away! First, unlike a lot of places nearby, they replied to our booking enquiry really quickly - a good sign. We arrived for a late lunch, and from start to finish the food was incredible - including the prosciutto and caramelised onion pre-antipasti that we didn’t even have to order. We each had four courses, every dish was delicious and the bill was under €100 - which felt like excellent value. The site is beautiful, we had a little walk around after lunch (there are clear routes around the countryside marked on the map in the grounds) and are definitely planning to stay at the hotel next time we’re in the region!

We spent about a week driving around northern Puglia and Basilicata and this was our favorite place to stay hands down. As most people who are interested in visiting this area are looking for an authentic "Masseria" I can attest that this one ticks all the boxes. It is quite rural but then , that's what you'd expect from a true masseria. The restaurant is charming and the quality of the food is superb (Thanks to the great chef who came out and thanked us for visiting, forgot his name, but kudos to you!) and the decor is lovely. Breakfast on the terrace in the sun was terrific, and again, great quality ingredients. The rooms are comfortable and have lots of space, wifi is excellent. This place is great

Lovely agriturismo with well-appointed rooms, each with its own terrace and large bathroom (shower) and a bowl of fruit from the farm (grapes in our case). We only missed a screen door against the numerous mosquitos. The really nice surprise is when you get to the beautiful swimming pool area, what a view; really great. Dinner is inside or outside as you wish; outside in our case as the temperature was mild. This was the first time that, when having dinner, we thought that the food was all we had hoped for when travelling to Italy. Simple but so good, so full of flavour. Should we travel in this area in the future we will definitely stay here again.

Well now this is a bit of a gem. Apart from the rooms which are large and cool with a small seating area the big surprise for us on this overnight stay was the quality of the restaurant. Locally sourced produce. Our dinner all quite delicious. We'd come here just to eat on that basis. Breakfast was equally good. A lovely place to relax.
